1.
Elgin will give Brenham all they can handle, but Brenham will survive just so Livingston can blow them out of the playoffs. Brenham 35 Elgin 34 missed extra point
Hey remember in 2007, when Livingston covered the entire town with Beat Brenham signs?? Dustin Harris was at QB and scored in the first 30 seconds of the game, and then Brenham put up 42 unanswered... good times haha
2.
China Spring will probably be without their best back.  If he is out, it will be a long night for the Cougars.  Even with him, Navasota should win. Navasota 38-3 (being conservative).
He is playing tonight for sure. Just a heads up, don't get cocky because we all know anything can happen in this game. Navasota 35 CS 17
3. Rudder will allow almost 300 rushing yards in this one. Brenham rolls 42-7
4. Darrion had a cramp, he is fine. BRENHAM WINS!!!!...again lol
5. BF I wouldn't say both teams look sloppy, Brenham has had maybe two bad snaps... The defense has been awesome tonight, and hopefully it stays that way
6. HUGE fumble at the end of the half to set up a Cub FG!!! Brenham 16 Montgomery 7
7. I'll just say this, Brenham has some fun surprises in store for this game. I watched practice film tonight and the defense is going to look very different. My brother said the team is pumped, but they are looking at this as just another game. They understand the rivalry, but they aren't the team who is winless in this match-up, which makes it seem smaller to them. Both of these teams stand alone at the top of this district, and we will find out Friday who's the best. I predict Brenham-31 Montgomery- 24
8. Cubs get pooch kick on opening kick-off, score 6 plays later. Cubs 7 Willis-0
9.

Brenham leads the series 6-0.               '04  '05  '06  '07  '08  '09 Brenham  49    54    24  29  17  40 Willis        28    0    7    0    0    9 A couple of interesting quotes from the coaches... Coach West: "Boy this week is going to be a call and a challenge.  I'm very impressed with Willis offensively.  To this point, they'll be the most complete offense we've seen.  They can throw the ball well and have dangerous receivers, possession receivers." Coach Jackson: "I know since 08' we've never had an opportunity to stay close to Brenham.  Even though they're young and extremely big, it's going to take everything we've got to stay in the game.  They're so much bigger and faster than we are.  Our kids are going to have to play well above their heads to stay within reach of the game." SMH @ Coach Jackson...  What kind of message does that send to his team?  I can't believe he would bring that type of negativity into the locker room.  I'm also not sure what he's talking about when he said we have more speed then they do.  I mean, Willis is always really athletic.  Not to mention, they have the state champion in the 400m, in Chris Pratt.
Actually Brenham leads the series 11-4 since 1986 with Willis' last win coming in 1997.  These teams have played each other off and on since 1986.
I got it from the Banner Press, but I guess I misread it.  Maybe it said Brenham has won the last 6.
The Banner Press is a complete joke, the consistently throw out false stats and info and misspell our players names at least half of the time. I was on the '06 '07 team and in 2006 Brenham beat Willis by more than 50 points and 2007 was 42-7. I really wish we could hire a decent sports writer. Brenham will win 42-13
10.
31yd TD run by the soph from Caney Creek, Patterson. 21-0 Brenham 4:18 2nd
Patterson is not from Caney Creek, you are thinking of Ryan Nunn who is ineligible. Go Cubs
11. Justin moved his left side for the first time today! This is huge for him, and the doctors continue to have a positive attitude towards his recovery.
12. Brenham 35 Foster 14 Look for the Cubs to play the hardest they ever have after the ridiculous week they have had. Playing for JD!
13. To make it clear, it was not an aneurysm. His carotid artery burst in his neck, causing a clot in his brain which led to a stroke. He had surgery yesterday, and again this morning to relieve pressure off of his brain. He will now be sedated for at least 36 hrs and the doctors will know more when he wakes up. My mom got to talk to him before they sedated him and she said the doctors seem very positive at this point. Brenham thanks all of you for your prayers, it's times like these that make us remember football is just a game. God Bless
14. So which QB was the 1st string and which was 2nd??  *Mod edit- that was uncalled for *
