Lost 4/5 starters to graduation … The starter that was all state as a sophomore moved to HJ… The first 2 guys off the bench graduated…3 others that had varsity experience just decided not to even play… So essentially they brought back like 2-3 players from the entire team last year and those kids never saw the court much at all.

Kountze is gonna be a working progress this season… lost 4/5 starters to graduation. 5th starter Lowe moved to HJ.. First guy off the bench graduated.. then the 2-3 others that got the most playing time on varsity off the bench just aren’t playing this year… Coach Joubert has his work cut out for him this year for sure.

Impressive win for Orangefield regardless… Hope they have a deep run this year.

When Bellville beat them that was the best and most complete game Bellville played this season. Also their RB Castillo who is their second best player behind their QB left the game hurt late in the second or early in the third if I remember correctly

Yeah I actually like Hardins matchup with Yoakum better… Hitchcock was better defensively in my opinion. But Yoakum has the better offense to. Should be a good game

Sealy is pretty good. I was surprised when Bellville beat them this year. The QB (Air Force commit) is good and tough to bring down. This should be a good one

I don’t have a dog in the fight.. I haven’t watched Bridge City once this year but I have watched Navasota…Truth be told they have been a average to above 4A team at times this year… Doesn’t mean at their best they couldn’t be better but we will see

They gave up some points and didn’t look to great defending the pass but the run defense seemed on point. Offensively they did what they wanted to. Ranked to high? Maybe maybe not… but no question who the better team was last night
