That last time I watched Coldspring was when they beat Kirbyville in the playoffs at Lamar.

They made the playoffs in the 2016/2017 season. Placed 4th in Bellville’s district that year. Finished 3-7 (1-3). Actually almost got third that year but lost a close one to Madisonville. Weird district Alignment that year with Bellville, Shepherd,Madisonville, Brookshire Royal, and Tarkington.

Luckily this district has a easy bi district matchup… based on the results it may be tough sledding in the playoffs after round 1

I watched for a little bit.. Anahuac has a speedy RB and Neece does a great job with that team

I’ll say this.. I’ve seen a TON of salty Newton fans on facebook after losing to Hardin… a lot of coping going on. “That was their Super Bowl” “Newton has more playoff wins than most of the teams in SETX”… Relax Newton peeps you lost one district game your still a favorite to go to state lol

I agree… the only thing that is a advantage for Jasper is Coach Thompson knows how to stop that offense…but I don’t think he has the horses in the stable to implement his plan

They would be Co Champs if both finish with one loss. Tie breakers would then determine seeding. I’d say it’s more likely Hardin beats New Waverly… but then again I didn’t see Hardin beating Newton.
