Great interview! I don’t necessarily agree the remark about there will be at least one good football team that doesn’t make the playoffs in this district and would be capable of winning another district… maybe some of the bottom teams have improved from last year but after Silsbee, Jasper, H-F, and WOS there is a significant difference in those other teams as far as being good. Some of the other teams may finish 3rd or 4th in another district but I have a hard time believing they would win one with the exception of maybe one of those out lying region 1 or 4 districts that’s just really weak.

Coverage area teams 5A #9 Barbers Hill 4A #6 Bellville (For my rooting interests lol) #11 Huffman Hargrave 3A #5 Central Heights These polls look to be a little more researched as far as results. To be fair Bellville could probably drop a little lower because they are 5-5 even though they were playing nothing but 5A/6A schools last weekend. These polls also have Sealy in the top 20 and that’s a head scratcher to me lol

Local teams included 4A 11. LCM lol these rankings are rough to say the the least… not a whole lot of looking at the strength of schedule of some of the ranked teams…. LCM has started 7-1 but hasn’t played anybody really… Same with Wharton at 15…

I missed some scores but looks like Bellville finished 31st out of 49 teams in the Katy/Cy Fair ISD Tournament . Despite by far being the smallest school in the tournament still not necessarily the finish we wanted and got some things to work on. 6A Conroe Grand Oaks finished 8-0 and is the tournament champion.

This is the most action the volleyball board has seen in years😂
