I think this game will be closer than people think. Silsbee has a great team but I think HF should keep it within 2-3 scores. No doubt I think Silsbee will win but HF probably deserves some more credit than what some people are giving them.

I think Kountze returns a good bit and won’t be too bad in 3A

I’m just speaking on the Slot T part …. I think it’s a bad matchup for the Yoe defense. I was at the Bellville vs Yoe game. I don’t think that Yoe would lose to them but I don’t think it’s a blowout by any means.

Lumberton has a pretty decent team it looks like. Looking at the region it’s pretty weak overall though let’s be honest. Kilgore and El Campo look to be the only other tough outs besides Lumberton. So yeah until Lumberton runs into one of them based off what we have seen so far they shouldn’t face much of a challenge until then.

Updated District Week 4 results Bellville 28 Sealy 7 Sweeny 0 Columbia 73 Wharton 6 Brookshire Royal 52 La Marque BYE Standings Bellville 4-0 La Marque 2-1 Brookshire Royal 2-1 Columbia 2-2 Sealy 1-2 Wharton 1-3 Sweeny 0-3 There is 0.00000001% chance that Bellville loses their last two district games vs Wharton and Sweeny so they have basically locked in the number 1 seed after beating bitter rivals Sealy last night. I also predict Sealy to win out and finish 4-2, same for Columbia. If that happens… You’ll have a 3 way tie for second between Sealy, Columbia, and Brookshire Royal. La Marque despite starting 2-1 will finish district going 0-3 vs the three teams mentioned above. If they were to somehow win a game vs those three that would definitely throw a wrench in things. With all that said this district will have a tough out in bi district vs the Silsbee district. I do think Bellville has a good team and should win their matchup vs whoever ends up 4th.
