Yeah I stated somewhere else that their defense is probably not their strong point… In games vs what I consider “Good Teams” including Waco La Vega, Cameron Yoe, China Spring, and Brownwood… they are giving up 44 PPG….. Now they did go 2-2 in those games beating Waco La Vega and Cameron Yoe.

They had a RB that moved to Desoto for his senior year that’s committed to Texas

So after listening to the Tepp and step podcast … Waco C has 2-3 D1 skill position guys. DB Jelani McDonald who is committed to Oklahoma State, 4 star DB Kobe Black who has multiple offers from top programs in the country, and I think there is one more guy. Their flaw is the supporting cast apparently.

From what I know Connally is very athletic. Probably comparable to Silsbee as far as that’s concerned, but they do lack depth. Their offense is their strength.

Stafford has a solid D line and running back… but if you come out and hit them in the mouth and get ahead early they will struggle… that’s what happened vs Bellville
