Bellville scrimmaged Needville, Sweeny, and East Bernard…. played each team for 30 mins and did extremely well… Scored more than every team in the time period and got good work in. This morning went against Columbus who were 3A State Semi Finalists last year and the defending 2A State Champions in Iola. Did well vs Columbus but struggled against Iola. All in all should be in good shape once the real games begin next week

Yeah Silsbee will have taken a step back from last year but should still be a playoff team and will always have athletes… Newton is one of two favorites to win their region… Solid scrimmages for the cards
