Anybody have any kind of info. on this game.....did anybody see the "transfers" at Sabine Pass?

This tourney is always pretty big....I do believe that E.C. has been in it before, and I can assure you it has nothing to do with Kountze being in it. Kountze, I know for sure because they've won the last two, have been in this tourney before.

Goodrich hasn't had a football program since the 80's. They don't even have baseball, all they have is Basketball, Track, and Cross-Country.

First of all cma123, not trying to put you down or anything by any means, but i didn't understand any of that post you just put up. All I was saying was just what the others on this post were saying and that was how can this kid be at warren and spurger at the same time that's all. He seemed to have a great outline of how the game went on and how the team should be managed. Also, I don't care how the team should be ran and I don't care about his opinion on how the team should be played...that's his opinion, I don't know anything about Spurger. All I said was he had such a good perspective of the game, good enough that he could be a scout one day. Back to your post, I have no clue what you were trying to get at. I had to read the thing 6 or 7 times and still made no sense of it, I couldn't tell if you were mad at me or trying to tell me the concept of basketball. Let's try again and see where we get.

You accidently put Goodrich in BOLD when you meant to put Kountze in BOLD instead. It was a mistake.

After seeing that Goodrich/Kountze game, it just goes to show you that on any given night, anyone can be beat.

I'll have to agree with "the wise one", how can you pick goodrich over kountze after what they've lost. Kountze by 20+

Time to look past that Brookeland game. Who's got this one???

I was unable to go, but I did talk to McKinney "the big man" and he said that Brookeland shot lights out, they would throw it up there and it found a way in early in the game. He also said that they (Bs) didnt have two starters there that night due to personal reasons. It's funny though, we lost to them the first game last year as well and then went on to have a very successful season, but catman is right, once the tourney comes around or maybe even before that they'll kick it in gear and play like they're capable of playing. Good Job Brookeland! Way to battle!

No doubt you have to punish him, doesn't matter who he is or how valuable he is to the team. Allow him to mess up once and then that's it. He is just as much a part of the team as is the kid at the end of the bench who sees no playing time unless you're up by 30. Everyone on the team should be treated equally, you win as a team, lose as a team, and get punished as a team. It is a team effort to put together a good and successful season, and if you have one who's weakening the links in the chain them you have to discipline him so.
