Rip graduated with my daughter in 2011!!!!! He was a very polite, respectful, intelligent, hard working kid that earned every bit of what he has become today and I think personally that proves that if you work hard enough and never stop trying you can accomplish your dream, and that's just what he has done. I for one am very proud of Rip and how he has represented our little town of Dayton, Tx and any other kid that has given it their all for success. Go Broncos 2016!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't remember how that works if they did it when Hancock got bumped up, I don't remember it being posted but this is a little different situation than it was 5 years ago too.

Congrats BH Eagle's I said it in a post last year that probably within the next 5 years y'alls program would grow and get better it did just hiring this coach. I hope we can get a great coach back in Dayton also.

Dayton defense looked better than expected,they have issues with jumping across the scrimmage line before the ball is snapped and it cost them. They otherwise looked descent for their first scrimmage. Overall Grade on Defense Tonite B- Dayton offense needs work quit running the same 5 or 6 plays over and over again. Need to shore up the front line and I counted at least 4 times where there was absolutely no blocking on the defensive corners and that allowed blind side hits to our quarterback. I like the QB he's quick and a pretty accurate passer. He threw two perfect passes tonight that would've been tds but that's how it goes. Overall Grade on Offense Tonite C- We have a young team but they will be fine and I want to thank them for all their hard work and I believe we will make the play-offs again for the 18th year. Go Broncos Congrats to Friendswood. I think that you will do well in district.

Don't count Dayton out, I agree with BG whether it be SC,BH,Crosby, etc. I talked to a couple of people in the know and the Broncos could surprise a lot of teams this year, but we will see what happens. That's why you play one game at a time and never look past what's in front of your face, because we all know anyone can win or loose on any given day. Go Broncos!!!!

I not posting about Dayton until next year after I say this, so here it is. Jerry Stewart watching on the sideline shouldn't change anything. 1. The coaching for Dayton is suspect. 2. You can't run the same plays that don't work over and over again. 3. You can't practice your game plan for the next game all week and then not run it. 4. Stay with 1 qb. 5. Don't start players in positions they have never played and you are trying to tell them how to line up in a play-off game. 6. Don't blame the kids they are doing what they are told to do. I'M A DIE HARD BRONCO FAN BUT IF YOU DON'T FIX THESE ISSUES SAME RESULTS NEXT YEAR. CONGRATS BRONCOS ON A GOOD SEASON PROUD OF ALL THE PLAYERS AND GOOD LUCK TO THE GRADUATING SENOIRS. OH AND GOOD LUCK TO ALL THE TEAMS AND PLAYERS STILL PLAYING BALL GOOD LUCK AND STAY HEALTHY.
