BC-Alum, yes we got beat by the better team, no ref excuses. Unlike all the excuses we heard from BC fans when LCM beat BC this year. Congrats on your 3rd place in District. LCM will just add our DC trophy to the case.

Cardinal yacker, all four teams lost score doesn’t matter. LCM district champs 1st round loss. BC 3rd place first round loss. No one is embarrassed , got beat no excuses. BC had an ok season, LCM had a DC season. Good luck next year.

I personally do want BC to win, being from OC, But if I was to honestly pick who I thought would win it would be Huffman from what I’ve seen the past two weeks. I hope I’m wrong but reasons like no grit and fortitude come to my mind when I think of BC this year. Go Bears

Also please get off this thread if you’re talking BC. We’re sharing secrets with Huffman on how to get refs to cheat BC and we can’t do that with you on here.

I can’t understand how you don’t understand that in 2024 LCM is Superior in football to BC. Please stop embarrassing your community because they do have a good thing going in BC. Not to the level of LCM, but getting better.

I was not surprised. For the past 4 years it has been a good game. Watching LCM this year against teams like BC and Huffman, I see a complete team, not just 1 or 2 superstars but a Team. A team that plays together well and doesn’t get down even being down after halftime. Got to be ready for Lumberton because they will go hard. Go Bears

I am 100% convinced if your HS football team beat another team. Then the team who won is the better team that year. So by your logic if you beat someone your the same. I don’t know how you figure out who goes to playoffs, or advances in playoffs. Well LCM won but they’re really the same so no one advances. Next year if BC wins their the better team that year. And I could accept that. That’s what makes all this fun. The game the other night win or lose was exciting. Good luck to your team rest of year.

Your first statement was criticism. You said while neither are very good. I did not criticize a kid. Like I said before again, Im happy for BC this season. Also never said were state champs, just better than BC that night.

No one is criticizing kids, just stating the fact that in 2024 LCM football is better than BC football. Like I stated before BC is having a great year. They have a great coach. Just could not beat Lcm. Also responding to guitar man who keeps blaming refs for loss instead of just accepting the better team win that night. Next year might be a different story.

LCM is the superior team to BC in football this year. If BC wanted to opt up just to play LCM is crazy, LCM beat them the past couple of years in non district. BC has done great this year and when they lose 1 game to the better team LCM team they want to find some reason why they got beat. Refs did, lol, excuses. LCM is the better team and BC lost to them this year. Just accept defeat by LCM and enjoy the rest of your season, which has been great. BC could go 9-1, Good season.

Guitar man, I know you watched the game. Did you not stay till the end? LCM won the game which makes them the better team this year. BC has done great this year, I’m sorry you can’t enjoy it. Don’t blame the refs, maybe cheer for the better team, and that’s guess who, this year, LCM. Good luck though rest of year blaming the refs. I would just enjoy having a great year which BC is. LCM is just the better team. I was at game and saw penalties on both sides of ball. And saw BC coach on LCM sideline almost. Some penalties were called and some missed. Just like any HS game played in SETX. Great Job Bears.

Well, I promise you this Blue_left, no matter how good or bad district is LCM has Won 5 straight with QB, #5 is playing great at TE and multiple positions helping LCM. Not sure how Friday will turn out but LCM is who they are for this season right now. Hopefully passing does improve. I agree with some post earlier, in order for LCM to win, this needs to be a tough, ugly ish game. Not Dirty! Great job for BC having a good year, it’s been a while. Go Bears

Blue_left, not sure why you don’t like Peevey. Everything has improved since he has arrived. Of course like life itself , it’s not always fair to all. We have no idea how discipline is even done behind closed doors! Even if we have kids in program that tell us things it’s never the whole truth. On how kids and parents act. I was there the night Vidor and Lumberton fought and shoved during shaking hands in early 2000s in lumberton . And remember a YouTube video of BC and Lumberton parents fighting at a little league game. What I took from these things is that there are two sides to these things and no one is innocent in these High school- little league arguments. I’m sure both sides are guilty when it comes to Vidor and LCM. Glad you’re taking LCM though.

Exciting game last night even though both teams were sloppy. Things to work on that will help QB, snaps, hard to get in rhythm with high snaps throwing off flow of play. Bad snaps probably caused penalties first two drives. QB did come up huge in 4th with probably game winning run. But yes throws need to be better. Penalties first two drives probably cost points. Use both RBs they can handle playing both ways. Im just excited to be 1-0 headed in to rest of district, this team has shown signs of putting it together.

Well, it sure doesn’t take long before people forget what it was like before Peevey arrived. My son played 2 yrs for previous coach and 2 years for Peevey. It’s not even close. Peevey has changed everything for the better. Everything! let’s get to district and see what happens.
