Translation: If you don't have better athletes than them then the Slot-T gives you a better chance to limit their possessions and keep you in the game longer and decrease the final score deficit. If you have the better athletes then the spread would work better than the slot-T. Since everyone seems to compare them to one of the teams than Neon Deon or Michael Irving puts together talent wise, then it makes it appear as though they can't be out athleted sOooOoo...... The Liberty Hill smoked crosby with discipline and team execution. Do you think Liberty Hill could beat crosby using the exact same playbook as crosby ? Or even for that matter that Vidor using crosbys playbook could do the same ? -
If Sabine Pass still has a team maybe their kids could start there. They should transfer them

I think the Panthers style of play has the best chance against SOC. I think they can at least keep the score more respectable than a team playing the spread would . Having to prepare all week for unusual style of play can sometimes break a teams rhythm . Long sustained drives by the opponent that keeps your offense on the sideline can also break rhythm. If SOCs defense trys to rely too much on their athleticism and goes over pursuing it could really hurt them. Pulling for LH all the way though because I like underdogs and it would be cool to see the win one for their late coach . GO PANTHERS -

I bet Peevey would prefer a deeper playoff run than a meaningless title. C'mon quit hating on LC-M, they did a great job this season. Give credit where it's due -
Adios Chapel Hill 😁

LH's smaller lineman using quick angle blocking techniques can really offset the size differential . The more athletic teams tend to over pursue when defending the slot-T and that's the one of the things that LH has going for them, the other being HEART. The odds are stacked against them when facing SOC but I guarantee they come to play like they always do. -
The Blue Link has been deemed inappropriate by computer Al Gore Rhythms . They now must be referred to as simply. "The Defense"

I'd take Fairclothe over Rio if given the option because he did a lot with the talent he was given. I don't think Rio would be any more successful than BF but I'd take him in a heartbeat over JDC and Langston. If PNG has an honest hiring process then they should draw some great candidates . Just my opinion and nothing more. Best of luck to your Indians during this process.

Liberty Hill vs. Crosby/ POST UPDATES HERE

Nothing to hang your head about Cougars, you had another great season and will make another deep run next year. Liberty Hill is the Godfather of the Slot-T and no one comes close to running it like them. They also have emotion on their side and I think they are still playing for their late coach. They are the team that Slot-T teams try the best to emulate and that's actually where Vidor learned the offense over a decade ago, we just took changed the series numbers by 100 in the playbook. We used to play call more like LH but have quickly declined in that aspect. I really wish you guys would've beat beat them because it's gonna make our coaches keep this offense for another eternity . Not that's it's not a decent offense but it's just that I'm frankly sick of watching it. I think we could of learned any offense just as well , if not better if we had given it the same amount of time. I don't buy the fact that we can't throw the ball because teams with similar and even less talent make the transition in relatively short periods of time but I digress. I support all the local teams despite who they are or what style of play they use. KEEP YOUR HEAD HIGH COUGS . Code Red will be back next year and once again will be the last one standing from our local districts
