Despite the woodshed beating, BC has more hope for the future of the program (except against WO-S) than LC-M. Low expectations + a coach who is clearly coasting = a long road back to respectability. And once Crouch retires, he leaves behind a very unattractive job.

BC should never consider a promising season doomed because of a loss to WO-S. A lot of BC folks thought again that this was "the year" because of Dubois and middle school history, but it's not going to happen.

BC will be fine. Don't gauge your season by the results of this game.

And don't cheer too loud on the WOS side. Lord knows the BCPD will find a reason to escort you out... and I'm not being facetious.

Maybe this will add some spice to a series that has been pretty lackluster besides a half handful of relatively close games. If BC can't move the ball through the air, the WOS starters will be out by halftime.

When has he showed he knows how to attack us? When has the Slot-T given us fits? We saw it, what, 7 times last year? I see it quite opposite!

Remember where you heard the "just because you don't pass" argument last? Dubois's HJ teams. It always goes back to middle school with BC. Our guys have grown a bit since then.

Ah, the old "remember middle school" argument. That is as much a part of the BC tradition as "this is the year." WO-S has scored 10 points more in the last six meetings than BC has scored in all 24.

According to the Orange Leader, BC has fumbled 8 times (2 lost) already. That along with only 3 pass attempts is surprising. Considering you are going up against the best D you will see this year, you would think you would work on the pass game a bit when you have the game in the bag... Unless you don't want to expose a weakness. I'm not suggesting BC can't win. Upsets happen every week. But for a team with no success against WO-S with a coach with no success against WO-S, to see the Mustangs in the same light as North Forest ("WO-S, you're next!") is just dumb.
