2.
I just Texted a reliable source and this is what I got. Sounds like an impressive outing to me. White final line : 7 innings, 4 hits, 5BB, 2R, 18k
Wow!  nice job White! Great win Lumberton.
 3. Congratulations to this kid!  What an outstanding ball player, leader and all around young man. Haters gonna hate.  You just have to rise above and keep doing what you are doing. Let your voice be heard on the field.  The Pirates will miss this kid - but I am hoping there will be other Pirates coming up through the ranks that will keep Vidor competitive in football in 20-4A.  The tougher all the teams are in district, the better each of our teams get from being tested week after week.

ONe fan called him XBox Kenny. One F-A-N. PAM has talent, but compared to some of the other region 3 5A schools they aren't anymore loaded. Remember PAM was a combination of 3 schools, but they still have a rather small enrollment in the 5A ranks and it's shrinking. I think Kenny has done very well with PAM. Jeff Mathews has done a good job with Vidor, but they are 2-3 in the playoffs the last four seasons and didn't win a DC, actually finishing 3rd twice and folks forget three years ago they were 2-8. In comparison Faircloth at PNG in that same time frame has one DC and two 2nd place finishes and went 3-3 in the playoffs, but folks remember only this past seasons 2-8 team. Faircloth's teams have been better than Mathews teams over that span, not by much.             Overall      Dist        Playoffs PNG      28-18      18-10        3-3            1 DC - 2 2nd Vidor    28-18      17-11        2-3            2 2nd - 1 3rd This is why I can't put Mathews in the top 5...Because I can't put Faircloth in the top 5.
NDN, the difference is PNG historically has had decent teams with a state appearance in 99 along with several playoff berths recently before BF took over. Matthews took over a dead program and brought them to life. There may have been one F-A-N that said that about Kenny, but there were several that were bashing him. It's not like there are alot of PAM fans on here anyways. ;D
Common misconception that PNG was a perrinial playoff team before Faircloth took over. They actually went to the playoffs 3 times in the nine seasons before Faircloth. With several 3-6 and 5-5 seasons mixed in. Also Mathews has been at Vidor for 10+ years (not sure how long) and only recently have they had any success. The guy has done very well in changing the overall sports culture at Vidor. Just not willing to say he is a top 5 local coach...Yet.
I lived in PNG for 12 years during those times. 04- 2nd rd playoffs 05- screwed by hurricane and coin toss 06- No playoffs 07- 2nd rd Playoffs 08- No playoffs BF is a good coach no doubt, but most people were ticked because of  the old coach run left, right, middle, punt offense. With 4 teams going to playoffs, I was a little thrown off by a BF coached team not making the playoffs when Neuman is making it year in and year out with all kinds of major injuries. BF had a chance to get creative and show his skills IMO and failed. I still think he's a decent coach when he has decent athletes there. He's about to go through a pretty dang good cycle.
I could not agree with you more.
 5.
Png's biggest obstacle next season is scoring in the face of the defenses in the  district. Ned, Vidor, Central, and Livingston defenses could really be tough, even if offense improvements are made for NDNs.  Don't hear much about a running attack for Png and that could spell problems for the offense (as one-dimensional), even though FC is an offensive mind. Livingston will make huge improvements next season and if Png doesn't pull out the stops on D, then I really don't see Png making the 4th spot.LCM could be interesting to watch.  20-4A is always good. And, as last year, the season will be bright for the Dogs ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Go Dogs!
This is pretty much how I see it as well.  PN-G is going to have to have a vast improvement on defense.  It doesn't matter they can score 40 or 50 points a game... if they cannot stop the other team from scoring, there will be more losses than wins in a district this tough.
 6. Smoking/Frozen Baby --- As much as it pains me to type these next few words on my keyboard.....  I will miss your posts.  Glad to see PN-G made it at the top of your list; hence it was the only thing we were on top of this 2012-2013 year.  Good to see we are still fresh and thought of "first" on someone's mind  :-* Best of luck to you in your new endeavor in Alaska and please... do make an appearance during the playoffs! It would not be the same without you.
 7. PN-G better put more than 5 W's in the win column this year. They also need to find a way to beat Nederland.  Out coached, out played and out numbered year after year by our Mid-County friends is getting old.....just sayin.  :-[
 8.
Harmon was a beast no doubt, Bertrand was fun to watch also. They had a big mean ole nasty offensive line that they ran behind and had QBs and wideouts to support. The 2012 team we witnessed this past year, had no stud RB .  We have been spoiled in years past with some very talented teams, just one of them being the 2012 team was not. I think Fairclothes offense from his first three years was very productive, just wish we could find a stingy defense. I know our schedule is tough next year, but. Would really want to see a team that was a lil more competive on both sides of the ball.  The way it looks might be another year or two away from that, just have to take it one season at a time.
Back to back 2 win seasons will not sit well with many NDN faithful.
 9. Hopefully...  we will have a defense in 2013. GO NDN's!
 10. TOUCHDOWN  Katy.  35-24
 11. Even if it does... Still quite impressive that it took this many years and having multiple games to draw a large enough crowd to stay around and watch the final game, in order to beat the record.

Really?! Uhhhhhh.....
Yes...Really!  ;)
Did I miss something? I mean I will try to put it nicely: aren't there a few other coaches who deserve this a little more than Faircloth?
Please elaborate.
 13. Hey... If I can get on here without the pop ups now.... I'm ALL for the new look!!!!
 14. He would have an even better chance if he would be coming off something other than a 2 win season. But, yes; I would suppose he would still be a front runner with his history and ties to that program. Time will tell...
 15.
There is no law that man can come up with to prevent things like this from happening.
Perhaps not.  But maybe increasing the security at our public teaching facilities may be a start in discouraging individuals from walking into buildings easily with sinister plans on their minds?
 16.
Sad tbat it have came to shooting children, the same ones we're are supposed to be protecting by instinct.  This is the type of thing than makes some including myself think twice about planting a seed in this cruel world.  Prayers sent to these kids and their loved ones...
So true Soulja - the upmost respect for parents today that are raising their children in this cruel world.
 17. It disgusts me to know that I am living in a society where as grade school children are not even safe within the public learning institutions.  It is disgusting and unfathomable that someone would enter an Elementary school and shoot innocent children. This tragedy will follow these young survivors throughout their adult lives – and my heart aches for each of them. All because of the actions of someone who is/was clearly out of touch with reality and chances are should have been in treatment and or institutionalized. I admire so many of the parents in the world today.  Raising your children in this current society has to be just nerve racking.  Not only are you having to worry about setting an example for your children by your actions, you are having to warn your kids of the potential of outside influences all while praying that your child doesn’t end up at the wrong place  - at the wrong time. Truly a sad day in America.
We did, and for the record we will continue to beat the brakes off 19-4A opponents, and those in 20-4A as well.
Well..  enjoy it while you can.  Paybacks are hell.  ;D

 20. 1 Livingston 2 Nederland 3 Vidor 4 PNG or Central
 21. I am hoping to see a much improved defense on the field for PN-G. Although the team will be young, I am hoping that we can be in the hunt for a playoff spot; or at least pose a spoiler for a team or two.  ;D
 22. Good Luck Georgetown Eagles! May your quest for the big prize be granted!  You guys have a very good team.
 23. Great season Nederland. Hold your heads high!!!
