Looks like some folks in Mont Belvieu need to learn manners
CAL2TEX replied to WOSgrad's topic in High School Football
Correct. It is to provide our children with the tools they need to become productive members of society and possible future leaders of this country, Hand in hand with that - is the expectation that schools will hire the most qualified, educated and socially mature individuals for this job. Having a superintendent (the person in charge of implementing the school board’s vision by making day-to-day decisions about educational programs, spending, staff, and facilities as well as hiring, supervising, and managing the central staff and principals) that is ignorant and careless enough to openly tweet about another school district and their unfounded careless spending habits is NOT someone that I would want molding my child’s future. -

I don't see this ending well for the superintendent. I can't see parents rallying behind this guy. -
Yeah - we already have one team in that district with such big heads they have to step into their shirts.

Best of luck to you and your family. It is always hard to leave "home" and start a new chapter in life. But; it will give your kids a prospective on community and the appreciation of being part of the Southeast Texas experience. I will never forget after relocating to Kingwood in the 90's and attending our first Kingwood Mustang football game; the youngest tugged on my shirt and said, "why no feathers and "burple"? She also seemed quite miffed after coming home from elementary school and realizing there would be no pep rallies or singing "Chair-wa-kee".

then they need to grow a pair - or move down a few classifications.
