  1. Hardin always seems to have problem breaking a press.
  2. 15-11 Hardin end of 1 Game VERY physical.
  3. 14-11 Hardin TO Hardin 1:30 left in 1st Kountze ran off 7 straight.
  4. Hardin off to early lead 12-5 3:41 left in 1st.
  5. Baylor had a good team last year as well, just a little young. I think they will be in the mix in the big 12 this year. As for the NC, Arizona State to me seems to be returning the most impact players, so they should make some noise, along with Rice, N. Carolina, and Oregon State. Hope Childress has A&M ready.
  6. I agree, year in and year out, you see the same core schools well represented. Its supposed to not consider the play-offs, but it seems like the names always come from the "AP" list. Like they're justifying their polls.
  7. Sorry, I accept zero blame for any MLB player taking steroids. But I will say I was nieve to say the least. I pretty much knew Bonds and the sort, but had no idea Petite would have done so. When Petite came forward, it validified the report to me. Sorry wiz, Rog is probably guilty, and guess what, it's not my fault. Major League Baseball is in a state of Turmoil right now in my opinion.
  8. Hardin got off to a terrible start. Buna took off with a big 1st quarter lead. Hardin had to play catch up the rest of the game. Bottom line, Hardin played bad at first, Buna played pretty well. After 1st quarter Hardin outscored Buna by 23 in the last 3 periods.

  10. Defending state champions Kountze definately has the edge here, but I don't think its a 25 point edge. Maybe I'm wrong.
  11. Whats really funny is, the topic of his speech was going to be on his strenuous workouts and how he was able to pitch so many seasons in the bigs.
  12. They will look different than this year. I think the program is headed in the right direction. Nolan, Marsh, Day, Collins, and Remsing will be missed greatly. I'm intrested to see how Haynes runs his off-season program, this is where truly good football programs are built. IMO Nolan was the perfect fit for Haynes' first year, not many other kids could have learned that offense as quickly and thouroughly as he did. QB will be the greatest task to fill. Stelly, Villamez, Davis, and James will be some names you'll hear about on offense next year, not sure about the defense. (Barber should be back...)
  13. But where did you find it?
  14. Graduation hurt Hardin badly. The one returning starter has quit from what I heard. Anyone hear anything about this?
  15. Hey, back off. How many other ADs out there are head girls BBall coaches? None. It has to be pretty difficult to do both these jobs. Off-season football is one of the most important parts of a successful football program. And trust me, he'll be graded harder for an unsuccessful football season than he will for not being at a basketball practice during athletics. I don't know of any ADs that head up a basketball team. Girls or boys.

  17. A-State is losing alot aren't they?
  18. I think reps are important...More reps=more cardio, doesn't it?
  19. Congrats, these are two great players. By the way, when did this list come out, and where can I find it?

  21. Now that, I will agree with. I think a kid should learn that life isn't fair and that complaining about a call will get them nowhere. Not on the court, on the field or for that matter in life. I think you'll see that the classier players have already learned this. Thats why they're classier...Maturity may have something to do with it as well. I cannot have anything but respect for a kid who just hands the ball to the ref and goes on about his game, even when (or especially when) he has just had a bad call on himself. Shows a higher level of professionalism.
  22. I agree with bullets. Refs can and have, I'll repeat, can and have made mistakes that have changed the outcome of a game. Saying that no matter what an official or ref does makes no change in the outcome of a game, give me a break. It doesn't even have to be the last call of a game or even a huge mistake, sometimes a little mistake can be a huge difference. What happens for the most part is, that officials and refs are consistent enough that the game is on an even field. Whenever an official or ref becomes inconsistent is when the outcome starts getting more and more influenced. Just my opinion.
