no probably to it, and the tigers absolutely deserved that hardware. It's one thing to run into a team that's better than you, another thing entirely to be a town of less than 7,000 people and run into an AAU team recruiting from 13 districts and millions of people. -
nah. Bridge City matched up best with them (and was the best team in the district), and squeaked by them. They would've rolled LCM and beaten Huffman and Lumberton by a couple scores. That said, you are correct that they are not the usual Chapel Hill. But still would be easily the 2nd place team in 10-4A, if not the DC, as them playing BC down to the wire shows.

The rest of the schedule that’s posted looks fine. Not sure what the point of this one was. -

I like the idea of 6A/5A, 4A/3A, 2A/1A better than what we had in the past. personally I also like the idea of 8 teams instead of 12. When I used to participate it always seems like I had to really dig deep to find teams to vote in those last couple of spots in both the big school and small school rankings. I don't really think some 12-10 team with an easy schedule deserves to make the rankings just because a classification runs out of quality teams to vote for. I'd also be open to submitting a poll if you want to try to get a group of us together to vote again, although i understand it's probably easier and less work for you to come up with the list yourself.

kinda similar to the the districts 9 and 10 in 4A-D1 in matchups. Edgewood is pretty good this year, though. Beat Commerce, competitive loss to 11-0 Troup, reasonable loss to 3A-D1 Palmer. I hope Woodville keeps this spark going, but Edgewood is a far cry better than all of the bad district teams that Woodville squeaked by at the end of the season, and West Rusk wasn't exactly some powerhouse that Woodville had to make a big comeback against.

not sure about the scores, but these are the winners I'm picking in my pickems
-
Navasota is maybe not quite as good as Chapel Hill, but likely still better than anyone on BC's regular season schedule this year. This one will be a tossup IMO.
-
Rooting for the tigers, but taking La Vega, 37-20
-
I got this one right on my smoaky pickems

Now I feel bad again that you WEREN’T there to see it.
-
Crazy comeback for sure
-
I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t enjoying this aTm game. Do feel kinda bad for AAW having to watch it in person. I do think the Ags are good enough to come back in the second half, but it looks pretty bleak

Tyler Chapel Hill 21 vs Bridge City 24— Final

I laughed at the second part, not the first, fyi. Last year that was a true statement, maybe. This year pretty unlikely. -

This must be a new motto for the program. Something yall developed over the last two years? -
Yup. Their four losses came to teams combining for 5 losses so far. They were down a little bit, but not a lot.
