I've yet to see this from a real source. It could still come from one, but spreading made up stuff is going to hurt the validity of the real waste they're finding.

I'm no longer in tune to BISD and their shenanigans, and I could be wrong, but this feels like a better hire than BISD has made in awhile in regards to football.

The amount of damage that this man, as well as the crooked school board he served under, did to Beaumont is immeasurable. Of course, a shocking amount of folks in the communities they served were more outraged about the crooks being outed than they were about being stolen from and their kids getting screwed, so I don't really know what you do to fix that.

what galls me is that while he served his 6 months' worth of weekends in jail, Walker spent around $10K in the commissary and on things like movies, candy, blankets, and phone calls. But he's "broke" and has only paid back $2,500 of the $1.2M he owes BISD. I hope he spends significant time in jail, and since he can't pay back what he owes, I can't imagine how he'd be allowed to spend money in commissary. Any money placed on his books should go straight to paying what he owes.

Shouldn’t have to worry about it now. what’s wild is that SC hadn’t won a game all season in the SEC, but have 5 losses to ranked teams by less than 5 in conference play.

You’d have better access to real stats than me, but it looks like someone is keeping them updating on MP and it shows him taking around 34%. That said, Columbus never used to keep track of them before on there, so I have an idea who’s uploading them. If I’m right, they might be fudging those %

Some HF fans complained about the officiating. I thought they called a pretty good game. One rough call with about 10 seconds left that I didn’t think was traveling when HF had a chance to tie hurt, but other than that HF (deservedly) got the advantage on fouls for the majority of the game. I think if the horns had pulled it out some of the BC fans would’ve found some calls to be upset about as well. This was a 1-point game inside :30, and only finished at 4 because BC iced it from the line. The horns were ice cold all night from deep and bad at the line. Can’t really blame the zebras for that. Full credit to BC: they shot pretty well from deep and took advantage of their free throws when they got them, and their defense forced a lot of turnovers.

Great seasons for both of these teams, and a great game tonight. BC did something late that the horns struggled with all night, which was make 3/4 clutch free throws late to put this one away. Proud of the horns, and hope the cards can keep this momentum going in the state semis next week!

BC up 31-30 after 3. HF is maybe 1/12 from 3 and 3 or 4/15 from the line. They could easily have a decent lead in this one. BC hasn’t shot great, but they’re hitting enough 3s to keep a slim lead. Been a fun game so far
