  1. Huntington up 13-9 mid-2nd
  2. I guess whichever ones he admitted to doing so to the UIL. How would I know who they are? I don't know a thing about the situation other than I just read through this thread and all of your "insider information" turned out to be worth about as much as what I personally already knew about it.
  3. The UIL: "Former North Shore offensive coordinator Andrew Cameron recruited players from area schools, and is suspended for 3 years." Andrew Cameron: "I did in fact recruit players from area schools." Coach Izzy: "Listen guys, that didn't actually happen. Trust me."
  4. Love seeing a local team in it from every classification. Our coverage area is well represented!
  5. What a coaching job by foster to get this Big Sandy team a couple of buckets away from the regional tourney
  6. 36-2 Seven Lakes isn’t much of a consolation prize. Gonna be a tough matchup for BU. This feels more like the final than the semi. Win this one and play an easier team to make it to state.
  7. Yeah, I’d edited it before you finished replying. Regardless they have a ton of talent coming back
  8. All four of their 6’4” and 6’5” guys are coming back
  9. Not many. And not sure any of them start. Maybe 1?
  10. Those new rims need some breaking in. Not used to seeing layups rim out
  11. That had a little, but obviously not everything, to do with Silsbee not playing their best. Horns scrapped down low and caused some turnovers with hustle. Nothing for HF to hang their heads about, and a nice tester to wake Silsbee up moving on in the playoffs. It’s been awhile since they’ve been challenged. Good luck to the tigers moving on!
  12. No quit in these horns
  13. Horns have also missed their fair share of two footers
  14. Rough end of the half for the horns, with Silsbee hitting two 3s in the last 20 seconds
  15. Hitchcock’s 3 losses this year are an OT loss to episcopal, a 3 point loss to 6A district winner South Houston, and a 7 point loss to 4A #2 Eastern Hills. OF played them tough last year, but it’s going to be a tall task to manage it two years in a row. Rooting for them, but I think Hitchcock wins by 15.
  16. HF breaks the press pretty well. Last night they scored some baskets without dribbling the ball on their side of the court with 2-3 quick passes. If they can do that against Silsbee, which is obviously a taller task, they have a chance to keep it pretty interesting. But it’s going to take a great game from the horns and a mediocre one from the tigers for HF to have any chance at an upset. I’m rooting hard for them, but I’m with everyone else in the “Silsbee by 20ish” camp.
  17. Oh, just saw it. Refs with an interesting call to end it. She missed the free throw on purpose and the clock started before anyone touched it. That said, it would’ve been literally impossible for the hawks to get the ball off a missed ft with .1 seconds left and make a 3 somehow
  18. He can be mad, but when your best player shoots like 25 free throws I’m not sure what you can really be mad about
  19. Lucky that didn’t cost them. Can’t do that at that stage of the game
  20. Tough 3rd for the hawks. Down 52-47 after 3
