  1. Up to 91%. Called North Carolina for trump
  2. NY times projecting trump to win 287 and currently have him at 72% chance of winning
  3. I’d tell you to swing by and get some trout but I haven’t fished in about 3 months and the freezer is pretty bare
  4. I thought it was weird that Graham is so high at 8-1, but I looked at their schedule: their loss is to the #10 4A-D1 team, and of their 8 wins, 7 of them are shutouts. They beat undefeated Brock 38-0 this week. Dang impressive
  5. I think three things played a part in it: 1. SoS. 2. HF’s loss to Hitchcock looked real bad on paper due to two pick sixes in desperation mode turning that into a 70-50 game or whatever it was, and 3. Name recognition. A few weeks ago they were both 5-1 and deserving of state rankings but there was only room in the top-10 for one of them when HF smoked Silsbee. WOS is a traditional power and their loss didn’t look as bad (although I think healthy Hitchcock beats WOS, too, at least early in the season). This week i think 3 teams from 5-10 lost and they had room to stick HF there. I think both rankings are fair, and probably would be if they flipped them as well.
  6. Just a reminder that while a little trolling is okay, personal attacks and profanity (even abbreviations and symbols) are not allowed. I cleared out and cleaned up a few posts in this thread without issuing warnings, but will do so if it continues.
  7. This was satisfying to watch because of a couple of Aggie fans I know (and a whole lot of nuts online) who lost their mind after last week thinking they were going to win out or something and talking all kinds of crap about the horns playing a close one with Vandy on the road and how Texas won’t be able to move the ball against the Aggie D-line. For the rest of you, it sure seems like Elko has y’all are headed in the right direction. Looking forward to renewing the rivalry.
  8. When he caught it his other foot was on the ground in bounds. Then the first step took him out of bounds
  9. Paying almost twice what you used to for just about everything… no issues with that? Congratulations
  10. Give me HF by 10. Nobody has slowed their offense down all year apart from LCM in the mud bowl. Their defense was a question early on, but their first team defense has given up about 3 touchdowns in the last 6 weeks, including completely blanking Jasper for 3 quarters a week after the dawgs put up 5 touchdowns against WOS. Their secondary is pretty dang good with Pirtle and Starnes going both ways, and their running D is much improved. Fun fact: Ty Bryson over the last 4 games is 68 of 81 for 1203 yds, 16 TDs and 1 interception. On the year he’s completed 75% of his passes for almost 2700 yds, with 33 TDs and 7 ints, 4 of which were against Hitchcock. Maybe WOS stops him, but I’ll be a little surprised. The stangs D is better than last year, but they’ve still given up a lot of points in some games.
  11. You don’t? I make more money than I did 4 years ago and have a lot less left over at the end of each month. So the govt can say whatever they want about how great we’re all doing, but my bank account doesn’t lie. I’m thankful to be in a position where I’m not going hungry, and can afford some nice things, but I’m definitely less comfortable than I used to be. The only people who don’t notice or don’t care are the ones who make so much money it doesn’t effect them or who get everything given to them for free.
  12. The question is what will drive the moderate swing vote: the fact that many feel one candidate is repugnant, or the fact that they’re all way worse off than they were four years ago, despite what the media is trying to tell us.
  13. For the fourth or fifth straight week my streak of too little too late continues. Another decent night, 19 or 20 I believe
  14. Pine Tree and Lindale are 0-0 at the half
  15. Because I’m one of them, and have talked to multiple people doing the same
  16. I don't have TDS. He's still a blowhard. I'm a little concerned with your inability to have discernment and see with clarity all of the ridiculous things he says and does. I take no issue with people who vote for him. I've voted for him 3 times now. But I really struggle with the folks who act like he's a good person or he's being persecuted. He's done and continues to do a lot of really bad stuff. He says ridiculous things and treats people crap. Decent president, terrible person. But as I was saying, folks like yourself will forever say "it's okay because..." or "it's not as bad as... because..." I'm totally fine with people who like him because they feel like he did a good job as president, but I have trouble taking his uber supporters seriously.
  17. you read the comment I was quoting? If he did do it, it's okay because... which is what is said EVERY time he does something, no matter how reprehensible.
  18. kinda proving CB's point here... no matter what he says or does, his supporters will qualify it somehow
  19. Plenty of them like him a lot, but people who don't like him are voting against Kamala. Ask me how I know.
  20. Now the question is how many of the transfers will they let play?
  21. Gotta turn the phone off. Performing my civic duty today and sitting on a jury
