I don’t. But he should’ve had the foresight to know something like this COULD happen based on who he was letting perform at his event.

By calling their homeland a pile of trash?

1. The joke wasn’t made at your expense. Personally I don’t care if someone jokes about me or white peoples, but plenty of people would be upset. 2. for a lot of Puerto Ricans in the US their identity is just about all they’ve got. They’re not worried about tax rates or abortion, they’re just trying to get by. This could be something that motivates what is largely an apathetic and disinterested voting base to make it out to the polls.

It’s a little optimistic that you assume someone representing a candidate for the presidency can crap on an entire culture and they’ll ignore that entirely

this coming from the party who was willing to let Brittany Griner rot in a russian prison because she criticized America and knelt for the anthem. Who harp on how un-American some politicians are as a main reason not to vote for them. Who post topic after topic on this site about such things. Who will fight people for stepping on or burning the flag. Patriotic Americans who don't think this is a big deal because it's not their country being insulted. A lot of Puerto Ricans love their island as much as we love the US. In an election where literally every vote counts, this will absolutely make some sort of difference. how much so is yet to be seen. If Kamala had hired a comedian to perform and they talked about how much America sucked, there would be a thread ten pages long on here criticizing the comedian, Kamala, and democrats in general. You guys would be saying "i told you so, she doesn't care about our country." Thats what puerto ricans are saying right now about Trump and republicans.

pure stupidity. and y'all acting like it will have zero effect are in denial. when you have swing states being decided by thousands of votes, it only takes a tiny ripple to make a difference. Not sure what is dumber; letting him perform or pretending like the results of his performance don't mean anything.

HH in a similar situation to BC. incredible turnaround, but ultra creampuff schedule. I THINK they're probably the best team in the district, but am curious to see what happens these next two weeks. it's hard to judge them based off this schedule. regardless of what happens it's been a great year for them.
-
and he was top-3 in most metrics last season, and has been a top-10 qb throughout his career. I don't like him, wish we hadn't signed him, and I am not defending his play. But he's been a good qb for his entire career, regardless of what he's done this year. And I didn't think he was worth the money even if he was duplicating his numbers from last year.

They played in a mud pit.

Silsbee and Jasper are down, but they aren’t THAT down. Jasper has just played arguably the toughest schedule in the state. Silsbee already beat LCM by two touchdowns. I will say it’s possible that the winner of y’all’s district maaaaaybe squeaks into fourth, but I don’t think anyone is good enough to beat both Jasper and Silsbee. Maybe Huffman. We’ll see what they do against LCM and BC. Their schedule is about as bad as BCs
-
Opted out is a more accurate term. The winner of this district would most likely finish 5th in the district BC left. It’s more than a legitimate knock. There isn’t a football fan around that doesn’t know why BC opted up, and it certainly wasn’t because they wanted tougher competition. They’re an improved team who’s done well with their incredibly soft schedule, but you insinuating that their “opting UP!” is somehow indicative of strength is pretty funny.

Was responding to a dumb Facebook comment just now and realized how good the Texas D has been this year. #1 stop rate in the country, #2 pass defense, top 20 run defense. They’ve given up 9 touchdowns in 8 games, and 4 of those in the last two weeks were on drives where the opponent started inside the Texas 40 after turnovers (and Michigan’s touchdown as time expired against second stringers barely counts). Even Georgia only managed two drives longer than 35 yds against them, and one of those ended in an interception.

Curious to see how he does against some good defenses that have game planned for him, but he looks like the real deal. Texas better be looking at the Arkansas tape to see what they did to slow him down. He was absolutely electric last night.
