Kneeling it out. Great ballgame

1st down. Should be ballgame

Carthage with 3rd and 5 or so coming up, after PG uses their last timeout.

Awesome

1:49 left, Carthage takes over

PG facing 4th and 12 from their 45 fails to convert

Carthage up 34-31 after a botched xp or fake, couldn’t tell. 4 left to play

Touchdown Carthage

Carthage wearing them down. 1st and 10 for Carthage at the pleasant grove 11. Less than 4:30 to play

Carthage driving. Just dropped a touchdown pass

Now Carthage returns the favor

PG recovers a fumble on the Carthage 22

!!/28/28/4 starting the 4th with PG in the redzone

I’m watching on NFHS

Just clicked back over to this one in time to watch Carthage shut their offense down 3 straight plays

Long way from over. Carthage was on their way to tie it up, but ran out of time. Will be curious to see what happens in the 2nd half. I’m sure Carthage will make adjustments

It was the most undisciplined I’ve seen them play, ever. Not just the 15-yd penalties at the end, but tons of formation/shift penalties throughout the game that killed drives

65 yd run from Hadnot

Sure, but the team has been stagnant for 7-8 years, and is now playing 6A and all of a sudden they’re full of studs? Just seems pretty strange.

I think they have a good shot. Last week HF beat themselves as much as Cuero beat them. Turnovers put the horns in a huge hole early, but the horns outscored them by like 20 points from mid-second on, even with penalties killing several important plays for HF

Pooch kick backfired, Cuero returns to the Jasper 36
