Texas finishes the game 7-12 from the line. Purdue finishes 33-46.

I know I’m an irritated Texas fan, but I think it’s ridiculous that tnt cut from live game action to show Jaden Ivey’s mom’s reaction from wherever she is every time he scores.

Purdue in the double bonus and already have shot over 30 fts while Texas has shot 9. They’re having to foul Purdue’s big some, but he just smashes into people and flails his 9 ft long arms and gets a shooting foul called every time.

My bracket was in the top 4600 on ESPN before chatanooga found a way to blow that game. Would’ve probably been in the top 1000 if they hadn’t choked.

I hate it when 3/4 of the starters in the league get all district. It waters down the prestige of making the team, and also sucks for the like 6 starters who didn’t get something.

I called a 6/11 UT/ags matchup. Would’ve been great. Selection committee had the ags as the 4th team out. I thought played their way in at the end of the season, but like you said, lose 8 straight and you leave it in the hands of the committee

One commentator earlier: “I think he needs to leave him in here with four fouls”. there was literally 45 seconds and they were down 4. No crap he needs to leave him in.

This one is brutal to watch. Just goes to show how impressive Silsbee was against one of the best recruited teams in Texas

Most talented and most out of control player on the court. If he’ll pick his spots and let the game come to him, he’ll be fine. These past two games he’s forced way too much, and it’s hurt him.

Unbelievable performance, and almost all of them in the second half!

Westlake found some creative ways to lose

Westlake would’ve won the game without this, and McKinney would’ve won if they’d made both free throws. Crazy

If they could hit a 3 they’d be winning. Hell of an effort against what should be about the #10 team in 6A, though.

Brutal end to the 3rd. Fought and clawed all the way back to cut it to 1 and then gave up all their progress in 4 seconds

They’re a very good team. Looking at their schedule, they’ve played some tough competition, and have some really good wins, including over McKinney. Only losses are to Duncanville, Harker Heights, Mansfield Summit, and Richardson. Those four teams have a combined record of 126-14. Losses to numbers 1,2, and 20 in 6A, and #6 in 5A.

I’ll say this after watching the second game… if BU comes out flat and is down going into the 4th quarter, timberview knows how to finish a game. They won’t make the same mistakes Kimball did.

And took bad shots, too. It wasn’t like they took quick shots but they were good looks. They played like THEY were the team down 9 in the 4th.

Their best player tonight, and it wasn’t close. They’re going home without him out there tonight.
