  1. Gohmert's a dipstick. The fact that he and Marjorie Taylor Greene keep backing each other up doesn't bode well for him. Doing some research on this, he's being dumb, and it's a non-issue. It's a nice sound bite for people to get riled up about nothing, reposting fake news and faking outrage. The DOJ "got caught opening Gohmert's mail" because they clearly marked this mail to let him know that, for whatever security reason, they decided to more closely examine the mail. Gohmert had two pieces of mail over 6 months that were x-rayed and opened by the DOJ. This happened on literally two of the hundreds or thousands he gets a week. I guess they should just let his stuff go straight through so he can get a nose full of anthrax. I like Gohmert less now after looking this up.
  2. As awful as this is, I think it's great! encourage them to congregate in san francisco!
  3. that's what I was afraid of. I'm not saying he's lying, but there's literally zero news about this on reputable sites right now.
  4. I'm going to be honest, the thing I saw was a conservative hit piece, which, if this is being portrayed accurately, is wholly justified. I haven't really had any opportunity to do any research yet. My first guess is that it's a questionable or bad piece of legislation that is being oversimplified by conservatives in the media to make Biden look as bad as possible, but also makes him look bad without their help.
  5. Yup... saw this this morning and was shocked to see a fox headline.
  6. basketball. I'm not not seeing in the news where he took a shot to the head, only that he collapsed. But HasBeen might have a better source from that community or something.
  7. Probably not, with 4 teams going. There are 3 teams tied for 4th at 5-6. Forfeiting 6 games would put them at 5-6, and give some of those 5-6 teams a win to change them to 6-5, but they have 3 games left. So they’d likely end district 8-6 and advance.
  8. Hard to get layups when you’re in a football huddle linking arms out beyond the volleyball line. Sounds like y’all at least moved the ball around some.
  9. What happened? Didn’t realize I could watch this one on NFHS or I would’ve tuned in
  10. I was going back in time looking for something else, but couldn't not quote this. you have a lot of quotes in this thread that aged poorly.
  11. I think it's funny how the leftist media portrays these protestors vs. protestors that shut down entire US cities and half burned them to the ground.
  12. That really looks a lot more embarrassing on video than I thought it would be based on what I read on the other thread.
  13. I expect Silsbee to come out with more urgency than last time and win comfortably. I was thinking they'd win by 20-30 tonight.
  14. almost certainly yes. but i guess something unexpected could happen. I highly doubt it, though.
  15. Someone got on here predicting a Splendora upset. Short handed hawks win by 30? I’ll take it.
  16. I’ve been critical about Mitchell for some stuff he’s done, but he’s helped make lumberton somewhat relevant, which they haven’t been pretty much ever. It doesn’t take a brilliant basketball mind to know that his players aren’t athletic enough or good enough to compete with Silsbee this year.
  17. FYI, just talked to someone involved in the game, and the coach sat the PG because he picked up his 4th foul early in the 3rd
  18. believe it was MS13 vs the surrenos. or was it the nortenos? one of the enos.
  19. One could argue that failures in sports don't really have much to do with their being an asset to the area. hundreds of thousands of local kids have gotten an affordable education from a college respectable enough for them to get hired into jobs. that's Lamar's biggest asset to the area for me.
