  1. Unbelievably stupid. As an educator I’ve always worried when we have crawfish boils and teens come over and drink with their parents. I know that that’s legal, but the optics aren’t great. We’ve always just said they can’t do it. The idiocy in actually providing kids with alcohol when you work for a school is mind blowing.
  2. Looked them up and they’ve played a tough schedule, but lost one game 86-19, and another to a team with a losing record. Who knows. They did beat the team that BU squeaked by by 16
  3. Maxpreps showing ridgeview with 8 losses. Brutal schedule?
  4. I was at work and had about 2 min before I was officially on the clock, and a coworker kept talking to me while I was reading through the thread. Your point makes some sense to me, FYI. We definitely have differing opinions on how serious the actions of the Trump supporters were on that day, but 1000% the left is greatly inflating what happened and is going to ride it for every mile it's worth. I don't have a problem with those arrested being covered by the media, but wish they'd devote a quarter of that much energy to identifying and publicly embarrassing the criminals from other riots and protests.
  5. I wish the teams had a little more info by their name on the bracket. I tried to look up a couple of them on maxpreps. Do you know how many Lees there are in Alabama? And i still don't know which one is the right one.
  6. Comparing January 6th to Jussie Smollett and Bubba Wallace is like comparing January 6th to Pearl Harbor.
  7. "those kids" looked better than the starters, if we're honest. You're making an argument that doesn't really match what happened. The assertion you're making is that this game was lopsided because HH played a lot of subs for a lot of the game. HJ was up 30 on the starters early in the 2nd quarter. Huffman starters couldn't do anything against the press or in the half court offense. If anything, "those kids" came in and did a better job keeping things close. You say that HJ isn't 40 points better than Huffman, but HJ could've won that game by 50-60 if they'd wanted to, regardless of which players Barrett chose to put on the floor. I don't think HJ beats Huffman by 40 consistently, but they were MORE than 40 points better than them in Sour Lake this week.
  8. like to the club? I'm pulling for lamar, but they're the worst team in the WAC right now.
  9. HJ is a little better than last year, and Huffman is not nearly as good as last year. That said, they're still a pretty good team, and this was an unexpected result. I had HJ winning by 10-15 points. Huffman is now 14-9, but pretty much every loss but one has come to a quality team with a good record, and only two of those losses have been blowouts. Still, this is a far cry from last year's 29-2 squad. Speaking of last year's team, what happened to Harvey? Is he playing somewhere in college? I tried the google and couldn't find anything.
  10. i don't think they're 40 points better, but they could've won this one by 60 if they'd kept their foot on the gas. Shooting percentage doesn't matter much when Huffman couldn't even get into an offense (when they were able to break the press). And that held true for the 1st quarter with the starters in just as much as the other quarters.
  11. Hawks win 85-47. Beat down. Could’ve been 100-40 if they hadn’t taken their foot off the gas.
  12. 48-13, 3:00 left in the half. HJ probably 7-9 from deep this quarter
