  1. Appears this is final, but not 100% on it
  2. PNG in a blowout. 30+. Wait, is it too late to make a prediction? As a neutral observer, it’s always fun to read these long threads after the fact and see how wrong people were
  3. Speaking of pass protection, Romo put up hall of fame numbers in a career where he had almost zero pass protection, a mediocre running game, and a defense that lost him multiple games a year where he put up 28 points or more. The shame for Romo is that when the cowboys finally put a line in front of him and a back who could run was when he started getting hurt. Dak is still young, but the team he struggled with last year was still way better than 90% of the teams Tony played with in his career, even with the Zeke suspension and the injuries to the O-line. I hope Dak gets it together, but I don’t see him being much more than a decent game manager.
  4. Many of those drops were poorly thrown balls. I want Dak to be good. I’m a huge cowboy fan. I’m no Dez apologist either. But the numbers are blatantly clear that his production decrease is a result of Dak’s inability to consistently throw a good ball down the field. I actually just found a video on Facebook of every incompletion from Dak to Dez last season. I watched about 4 min of it and turned it off, but the amount of poorly thrown balls was alarming. Dez was constantly having to adjust his body to account for passes being under/overthrown, low passes, high passes, wobbly passes, and plenty where Dak missed the window so badly that Dez had no shot at all.
  5. Me too. But Dak’s completion % to Dez was 52%. So 52% completion percentage, 12 yds a catch, 7 touchdowns a year, 60 catches a year, 800 yds a year. Romo’s last three healthy seasons: 65% completion to Dez, 14.5 yds a catch, 14 touchdowns a year, 91 catches a year, 1310 yds a year. I’m not great at the maths, but it’s pretty obvious how bad Dak was at effectively using Dez compared to Romo.
  6. Nope. In 2014, the last year Romo was healthy, Dez had 1320 yds and 16 TDs. In 2015 Romo only played 4 games. Dez got hurt in the first game of the season, and only played a single game with Romo that season. He came back mid-year and had Cassel, Weeden, and Moore throwing to him. In 2016, Romo got hurt in game one. So to be clear, Dez was “going downhill” with Romo by having a career high in touchdowns and the 2nd most receptions in a season he’d had in his career during Romo’s final healthy season as a cowboy. To put it in perspective: Dez’ final season with healthy Romo- 88 catches, 16 TD, 1320 yds Dez in two full seasons with Dak- 119 catches, 14 TD, 1634 yds. Dak sucks throwing the ball down the field. Period. If Dez gets someone who can do that he’ll be good again.
  7. I like the confidence, but it’s WOS’ district until someone takes it.
  8. I’ve gone through the list before, and most of it is obviously BS. I’m having a hard time understanding why the article about this couple posted on foxnews didn’t mention their upcoming testimony, or why a retired school nurse and her husband who works at a funeral home would be testifying at a hearing about a major pharmaceutical company? I’m also curious why all of the people from various nutcase conspiracy sites are able to post all about these “murders” and live to tell the tale, and why legitimate conservative sites like fox don’t pick it up if there’s any legitimacy to it?
  9. Due to some weird results, the two sides of the bracket are completely uneven. One side of the bracket somehow has Uruguay, Portugal, Brazil, France, Mexico, Japan, Argentina, and the winner of England/Belgium. The other side of the bracket only has Russia, Spain, Denmark, Sweden, Croatia, Switzerland, Colombia, and the loser of England/Belgium. I can’t remember a World Cup where pretty much every favorite ended up on the same side in the knockouts. If Belgium ends up on the hard side of the bracket, which it seems like they’re trying to avoid, it will be even tougher over there.
  10. I’m having a hard time getting real worked up for this World Cup with the USA not in it, but I’m sure I’ll still watch every game.
  11. Chase Shugart gets the start today in the Horns’ elimination game. Started it off with a strikeout.
  12. He out coached himself all the way into the state semis. Hopefully he out coaches himself two more times and brings home a state title!
