  1. Kind of makes you wonder what the post would've looked like if the wrong one of the TWO pure basketball coaches had been hired. What criticism would've been used in that case?
  2. Agree. Or unhealthy people died before the vaccines were available to them. But that's been reported from the very beginning. As to the uptick of VAERS calls, 274,000,000 extra vaccine doses have been administered so far this year vs. last year. I'd expect there to be a notable uptick in VAERS claims. A lot of those claims will be inaccurate, but i'm sure that a lot more people this year will suffer vaccine injuries when the amount of vaccines is increasing by however many 100% in adults.
  3. Awesome news! Unfortunately there's at least one Texas death today, just found out I lost an extended family member this morning. No condolences necessary, literally met her once.
  4. Safe to say for sure. We also know people who refused the jab died from covid. Isn't that safe to say as well? As for Eric Clapton, I'll be honest, I'm a little hesitant to believe him. No doubt people have had effects from the vaccine, but when an anti-lockdown activist gets the vaccine and starts talking about how horrible it was, talking about side effects nobody else is having, I'm a little suspicious. He and Van Morrison actually wrote and performed an "anti-lockdown" song. So maybe he really got sick afterwards, but I take it with a grain of salt. It's kinda like if you were forced to take the vaccine for work or something and then came on claiming that you became temporarily paralyzed by it or something. I'd have a hard time believing it.
  5. It's a pretty typical and ridiculous example of the way the media and government manipulates numbers and creatively interprets them to push across the narrative they want to push. She deserves all the criticism she gets. That being said, only 223 fully vaccinated people dying of (or with) covid is a phenomenal number compared to the amount of people who died of (or with) covid before the vaccinations ramped up. It's hard to ignore the major difference. 147,000,000 americans are fully vaccinated, and to this point 223 of them maybe died of covid? I'd say that's a success.
  6. I was really young when he died, but just reading up on him it sounds like he was headed that direction with or without her. But who knows?
  7. My wife and I were driving to East Texas last weekend and I had an old classic country station on because not much was tuning in on my radio out in the middle of nowhere. They said that Keith Whitley would be coming on after the commercial break and I got excited, saying how when I was little my dad kept a Keith Whitley cassette in his truck and I'd always listen to it when I'd visit him. My wife had never heard of him. She was a little skeptical when I told her that had he not died so young he possibly could have been as big as George Straight. Anyway, "I'm No Stranger to the Rain" comes on, and she's like "Holy crap, his voice is better than George Straight's! He sounds like a cross between George Straight and Randy Travis!" I'm just like "Yup, he was reaaaaaally good." It's a shame that he drank himself to death at the age of 33. His BAC was reportedly .477 at the time of his death. He had 3 #1 hits on his second studio album, and 2 more on his 3rd, which came out after his death. Who knows how many he would've had if he'd had a long career.
  8. That's what you got from the post I just made? Okay. Like I said, if you don't want to interact, quit using my name. If not, when you call people stupid and insult them, quit getting upset when they do it back.
  9. I'm not sure what you said in the title, but I didn't have anything to do with it being deleted, and didn't even know the thread existed. Maybe you weren't as diplomatic as I was? I didn't insult you, just repeated what you'd said. I'm not sure how I "can't take it when someone gives it back to me?" You've said all kinds of things, and I've "taken" them all. 3rd grade insults don't hurt my feelings. I enjoy going back and forth with people. If it bothered me I wouldn't keep coming back on here. And If I was that worried about you, I would've given you a ban for profanity the other day when you slipped up and used it. But since it wasn't directed at anyone, and wasn't that bad of a word, I just ignored it. By rule of the site, and your five previous profanity warnings, it would've been well within my responsibilities as a mod to permanently ban you. Don't give yourself too much credit. If you're concerned about it, maybe keep my name out of your mouth. I made a conscious decision to quit interacting with you a few days ago for the sake of civil conversations in the political forum, but every time I open the site you're bringing me up again. I'll admit that I went back on my decision and goaded you along (and had fun doing it). For all your accusations, it really feels like YOU are the one who likes to dish it, but can't take it. That said, quit bringing me up and I'll quit responding. You can go back to posting whatever you want (within site rules), and I'll go back to posting whatever I want (within site rules).
  10. I didn’t delete your post. I also haven’t posted any opinions of whether or not a child should get the vaccine. I honestly don’t know what you’re talking about. I assure you that nothing you’ve ever posted has embarrassed me. When did you make the post that you think I deleted? The only thing I ever deleted of yours was about 6 weeks ago when you and I went waaaaay off the rails in a thread, and I deleted my posts in that incident as well. I let everyone know i did it and why. Oh, and one time before that when I warned you for profanity, but I wasn’t even involved in that discussion.
  11. [Hidden Content] The new guidance still calls for wearing masks in crowded indoor settings like buses, planes, hospitals, prisons and homeless shelters, but will help clear the way for reopening workplaces, schools, and other venues — even removing the need for masks or social distancing for those who are fully vaccinated.
  12. I think Chester's open? Just happened to see it on a different site after reading this post this morning.
  13. Will do!
  14. Edited out profanity only, not anyone's content.
  15. As someone who's never been particularly interested in Lamar basketball, all of this local talent means I'll go see a few games next year.
  16. I said I was done talking to you, but every time I try to quit you say something so moronic or hypocritical that I get sucked back in. But yeah, definitely not a credible link... it references direct quotes from the CDC, American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and a well known reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist. But you find a heart doctor posting on a tabloid site saying something bad about the vaccine and wet yourself in excitement. Go look for Brent Bost on youtube. It'll give you something else to drool about. He used to be a local gynecologist, so you might already know him. He won't give you any ammunition to try and claim that the vaccine causes infertility, but he is an unqualified doctor with strong feelings about the vaccine, which you love. Anyway, you can go sit back in the corner with your toys. I really am done talking to you. It's like trying to explain to a toddler why they can't have an ice cream cone before dinner.

  18. here you go... how safe is the vaccine? Bearing in mind that I have sufficiently shown that many, if not most, of these deaths are coincidental (funny how you still haven't answered my question)... Over 245 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines were administered in the United States from December 14, 2020, through May 3, 2021. During this time, VAERS received 4,178 reports of death (0.0017%) among people who received a COVID-19 vaccine. I'd say that's a pretty good survival rate, even if all of those are vaccine deaths, which we know not to be the case. "I hope for everyone’s sake there’s no long term risk like women becoming infertile." - (non-fearmongerer) Realville As you would say, since there's literally no reason to think this would be the case, and no data to suggest this is a possibility, this is a "stupid argument". I'm not arguing that there may be some unknown side effect that arises in the future, because sure, there's always that possibility. but for someone who's "against fearmongering" you literally just made up one of the scariest possible side effects and said "hope this doesn't happen." Don't get the shot because there's a possibility that down the road your testicles may explode, because we don't know about future side effects. See how dumb that sounds? Anyway, I'm done on this one. Any future replies and you'll be talking to yourself.
  19. VAERS goes so far as to discredit itself on it's website. I already posted that. They do it so tinfoil hatters such as yourself can't use their numbers as fact, which you've already done anyway. i'll ask again: If 8,000 people a day die in the US, and over 130,000,000 have been vaccinated (most of them TWICE), would it not stand to reason that thousands of people will die after receiving the vaccine of other causes?
  20. if you're talking about in general, I agree. The danger of both covid and the vaccine have been misrepresented and used for political gain by people on both side of the fence. if you're talking about the fence that realville and myself are arguing across, I would have to disagree. I'm literally using basic statistics and irrefutable numbers to make a common sense point. He just says whatever pops into his head or uses smoke and mirrors to change the subject, or says how stupid my point is while offering literally no discernable rebuttal.
  21. speaking of losing an argument... real numbers you can't refute? blah blah blah, Fauci's a liar. good point. i agree. what does that have to do with what I'm talking about? Nothing.
