Gotta hold here
-
Whelp, that was their chance. Gotta stop them on third and long. Now another first down at midfield
-
they get a stop here and score a TD they're back in it. Give up another TD it's over
-
Great kick.
-
The ags better figure something out. Through three drives they've looked bad on defense and worse on offense. If they keep playing like this they might lose 59-0
-
Turned the game on at the precise second the tide's pick-6 somehow turned into a first down catch for the ags
-
Ballgame!
-
Memphis up 24-14 just before halftime over Ole Miss. #13 in the country Ole Miss. Definitely not overrated because they're in the SEC Ole Miss.

Daily Fantasy Sport
bullets13 replied to PhatMack19's topic in Professional Sports- NFL, NBA, MLB, Etc
I did some research because I was considering joining one of these sites. I found out that for the big money games fanduel limits a person to 500 entries and draftkings a 1000. For the games that have a first prize of $1M, professional daily fantasy players spend $5K or $10K to max out their entries (depending on the site), and use computer programs to create hundreds of teams based on computer algorithms that factor probabilities and upside. By doing this they draft teams that have better chances to succeed and draft players likely to be owned on less teams, also increasing their chances of success. Then Joe Public deposits a few bucks and drafts one team, and he's going against a few hundred pros with hundreds of teams each, as well as several hundred thousand other Joe Publics. The top 100 pro gamblers on each site win someone like 93% of the money, and there are millions of people playing each week. So if you're considering playing, make sure you understand you have like a .01% chance of winning any money at all, and even if you do it will probably only be a couple of bucks. It's like sitting down at a no limit Holdem table against 8 of the best players in the world, and they each get 10 hands while you get one. -
That's my kind of winter!

It's not easy yet. still have to find them.

AL Division Series (TEXAS at toronto)

All jokes aside, did Elvis Andrus get snubbed for MVP of the series? I don't think their was a player more instrumental in the Blue Jays winning the series. -

I hope Bautista comes back up to bat this game so he can get plunked for that bat flip. -

And the apparently worst fans in baseball are about to celebrate a win. -

Absolutely pathetic display of baseball all the way around. Horrible mistake by the jays to gift the Rangers the lead, and then THREE errors in what should've been a 1-2-3 inning for the Rangers, followed by a misplay to score a run, and then the bullpen gives up a bomb. This implosion is actually worse somehow than the one against the Angels a week ago. -

it makes it more interesting to me, no matter which college. -
i think that tcu and Baylor are on par with any team in the SEC. I'm not saying they would win the SEC, but they're certainly capable. I'm with you that I hope we see a matchup between the big 12 and the SEC. and my SEC conspiracy theory was validated in the week two rankings, when based on next to nothing there were ten SEC teams ranked in the top 25, several of who haven't had good seasons in years but had simply started 2-0 (like dozens of other teams who did not get recognition). Now there are only 5 because several of those SEC teams have proven too mediocre to ignore.
-
to be honest, I had gotten there. I was rooting for the Aggies against everyone except Texas. But with you guys moving to the SEC, combined with UT's recent struggles, some (not all) Aggie fans have made it impossible for me to root for y'all anymore. Now I root for all Texas teams except for the Aggies. And Texas Tech. I've never liked those guys.
-
And I believe it's time
-
I can't wait to be able to be excited about UT basketball again.
-
I'm torn here. I hope the aggies lose to ruin their playoff hopes, but I hope the tide lose to ruin their playoff hopes. I guess no matter what happens I win a little, and lose a little, as whoever wins will get that extra SEC cred for beating another SEC team and will jump into the final 4.

HJ will have another solid squad.

Rangers trot out a left-handed fly ball pitcher against a team full of right handed home run hitters. Jays hit 3 homers and lead 4-0 after batting twice. big shocker there...
