  1. Weird game. Lots of tough breaks against Dallas. It's not often a team is better on both sides of the ball, but loses. Some of the stupid stuff that the old Dallas used to do is occurring as well. Not a great start to the season for the boys. Hopefully they can get it together. They have a ton of talent this season.
  2. I rewound it and slowed it down to make sure I'm not crazy. It was there. He had an arm on each side of him pulling him back before he made his jump. Maybe soft, but not the type of complete nothing call that the original replays made it look like.
  3. He wrapped him up before the jump. All the replays showed it after that happened.
  4. Dallas completely dominated, then imploded, but is only down a TD. I haven't seen anything that makes me believe that they can't come back and win this one
  5. Wow. Cowboys have completely dominated and may go in down 17--6 at the half
  6. Hoyer picked off on his first throw with the Texans. The chiefs score two plays later. Go cowboys :)
  7. #2 Alabama- an ehh 37-10 win over Middle Tennessee #6 Auburn- Come from behind OT win over D-2 school. Yes, a D-2 school. #10 Georgia- Struggled with Vandy. Yes, Vandy. #14 LSU- going to beat Mississippi St, who is ranked because they're in the SEC #16 ATM- did what they were supposed to against Ball St #17 Ole Miss- pretty impressive blowout win over Fresno St #18 Arkansas- lost to Toledo. Yes, Toledo. #21 Mizzou- 7 point win over Arkansas St. Yes, Arkansas St. No, not Arkansas. Arkansas lost to Toledo. Yes, Toledo. #23 Tennessee- Lost to OU. Yes, a Big 12 school. #25 Mississippi State- Going to lose to LSU, who is one of the 4 SEC teams who probably maybe actually deserve their ranking. So to recap: Next week Toledo, Arkansas St, and a D-2 school will move into the top-25 due to their impressive performances against SEC TEAMS. Arkansas will drop out of the top 25, as will Tennessee. No worries, though, if either manages a win in their first conference game, they'll jump back in, having beaten an SEC TEAM. Mississippi St will probably drop to #26 since they lost to an SEC TEAM. Florida and Kentucky both had marginal wins, and are now 2-0 with marginal schedules, so I'm sure they'll replace Tennessee and Mississippi St in the top 25. Because they're SEC TEAMS. SEC! SEC! SEC!
  8. while i was impressed with lamar, i am NOT impressed with the fact that baylor scored a touchdown on 1st and 10 with 1:15 left in the game and a running clock. gotta be classy and kneel out. lamar played hard and deserved that much.
  9. TD Lamar! 59-31, Baylor leads, but I'm very impressed with the cards.
  10. They're actually beating them 42-14, for whatever that's worth
  11. I've seen several experts pick ND to make the football playoff, at least before Zaire got hurt. They've got a whole lot of talent on the field (although they're no Jacksonville State)
  12. oh, you mean the #18 and #23 team in the country? You're comparing them to big 12 bottom dwellers? I guess that makes my point for me. SEC is overrated. Win a game in the first week if you're in the SEC, top-25, here we come!
  13. That's like me pointing out that vandy lost last week.
  14. Fg for Lamar makes it 42-24. Very respectable for midway through the 3rd
  15. Lamar not giving up. Go down 42-21 early third, but get a stop, then return a pick 53 yards into the redzone!
  16. that one should count as three losses. Also, Georgia was in a tight game against dumpster fire Vanderbilt as well. They won by 17, but vandy threw two picks in the red zone at the end of the game, the second one of which was returned for a TD with about a minute left to account for the slightly more respectable winning margin.
  17. SEC ranked team Missouri poised to pull an upset on perennial powerhouse Arkansas State. They're up 24-20 in the 4th. SEC! SEC! SEC!
  18. I just saw a funny typo on espn. It said that a big-12 team just beat ranked SEC team Tennessee. Gotta be wrong. SEC! SEC! SEC!
  19. Well, Baylor will probably win this one by 40, but that was fun while it lasted.
  20. Lamar with a screen play where the reciever was wrapped up and tackled as the ball was thrown, and Lamar is flagged for intentional grounding because the receiver was tackled out of the vicinity of where the play was going. Explain that one for me :)
  21. I don't think I'd have bet money that Lamar would score 21 for the whole game, but I would've bet my house that Lamar would not be tied at 21 nearing the end of the second quarter.
