Lamar went down 7-0 early, but had a really impressive 88-yard drive to tie it up, and just stopped Baylor on 4th down to get the ball back with pretty good field position. Lamar will likely eventually get run over, but this looks like a better team than they've been fielding the last several years.
Auburn showing us just how tough the SEC is with that gritty come-from-behind OT win over FCS school Jacksonville St. With this impressive win, plus the fact that they're in the SEC, I'm sure Auburn will jump Baylor and TCU in the rankings this week ;)
Supposedly their marching band was representing the USS Enterprise "attacking the Kansas Jayhawk." This story lacks some credibility, because the Enterprise looked suspiciously like a penis, and it attacked the Jayhawk directly in the mouth.
a poor result. that being said, Texas is still rebuilding, and Notre Dame is expected by many experts to be in the football playoff at the end of the year. I'm not happy with the result, but I'd be more upset if it had happened against an average team. That being said, Texas isn't going to do much winning until they bring in at least a serviceable quarterback.
yeah? I think not. there were a ton of people on the Tebowwagon. and nearly all of them crapped a biscuit any time someone mentioned how bad he sucked.
I remember a couple of years back having an argument with about 30 people on here about how terrible he was. I was told I was stupid, that he was a winner, and that he would have a long, solid NFL career. I was told that he was simply being persecuted because of his Christian faith. I was told that he just needed time to develop. I think at this point it's safe for me to say... Nanny nanny boo boo, stick your head in doo doo.
