Curious to see what Texas does today. I don't like Texas' matchups at all, but at the same time nobody wants to play them. They could easily lose their first round game, and aTm is a horrible 2nd round matchup, but you know the ags don't want any part of them either. Texas could go out in the first round or make it to the elite 8. They're up and down this year, but I like Shaka's chances up getting to the final four in the next 3-4 years, though.

Rayburn is a flood control reservoir. Toledo Bend is a hydro-electric reservoir. Toledo's first concern is the integrity of the hydroelectric equipment and the dam. I don't think they handled this well at all, but there's a reason they're releasing water while Rayburn is holding it. Toledo also got significantly more rain (18 inches) than Rayburn did, even though they're pretty close to each other.

Hate seeing all of these big city schools dropping classes. They still have the talent pools of 5a and 6a schools because kids transfer all over the place. Takes the small school feel out of things and is going to make it almost impossible for schools like east chambers to have a chance

Silsbee foul trouble in the first half combined with Lincoln making almost all of their first half free throws after being in the double bonus 5 minutes into the game was the deciding factor in this one IMO. It took Silsbee out of their regular sub rotation early in the game, and allowed Lincoln to put them in a hole. The stretch late in the 2nd quarter where Lincoln hit three straight threes to push a small lead to a double digit lead was huge as well. Silsbee was able to fight back, but the big lead that Lincoln jumped out to meant that Silsbee's typical late run only brought them back to tie it instead of pushing their lead to 20.

Incredible heart shown by Silsbee tonight to come back from that deficit after the injury. Great season, and I expect to see y'all back next year

As deep as Silsbee is if they rack up 20 fouls in the first half they might be in trouble

You got him. Mike is totally biased thinking the #1 team in the state that just won their semifinal game by 40, and has rolled everyone they've faced in the playoffs, is a quality team. why don't you just let the Silsbee fans enjoy this thread?

Yup. This isn't some district game against a terrible opponent. That being said, Silsbee beat some pretty bad teams by a lot more than this and nobody was crying about it
