ORLANDO, Fla. -- The NBA has fined Lakers coach Phil Jackson $25,000 for criticizing the officials during Game 4 of the Finals. The league also penalized the Lakers $25,000 on Saturday for Jackson's comments, which came during an interview with ABC between the first and second quarters of their 99-91 overtime victory Thursday. Jackson said there were some "bogus" calls after the Lakers' Pau Gasol, Lamar Odom and Andrew Bynum each picked up two fouls in the first quarter. Game 5 of the NBA Finals is at 8 p.m. Sunday on ABC.

with all due respect, i've seen 67 year olds that were in GREAT shape, and he might be healthy, but he dang sure should know better than riding a 50 MILE bike ride. he's not THAT healthy! he's lucky he only broke ribs and not his head.

oh yeah, i don't follow hockey much, and i'm not sure who it was, but i heard about a player who was on the penguins last year who bailed on his team to try and win the cup with the detroit. i bet he feels like a donk right now

Tiger Woods will begin defense of his U.S. Open title on June 18 at Bethpage Black with an 8:06 a.m. (ET) pairing with Masters champion Angel Cabrera and PGA and British Open champion Padraig Harrington, according to the starting times released by the United States Golf Association. In a departure from last year's format of putting together the first- and second-round pairings based on the Official World Golf Rankings, the USGA decided to go with the three reigning major champions. Woods, Cabrera and Harrington will go off the 10th tee at 1:36 p.m. on Friday, June 19. The 109th U.S. Open tees off June 18 at 7 a.m. ET at Bethpage Black.
