  1. Make that up 17 with 15:30 left. I don't think the X-men are going to do it...
  2. I had a feeling he wasn't going to do what they thought he would when they picked him up. At least they have the good sense to waive him. The rangers could learn a thing or two from this...
  3. I went to ETBU, and watched a lot of the games. They didn't have a bad squad, but if he can keep up that point output, he should see plenty of the court.
  4. oh yeah, i also have a 14 year old cocker spaniel who's only trick is faking indigestion to try and get a pepcid wrapped in cheese.
  5. I have a mutt that was found in a field. She has the face of a border collie, the mouth of a german shepherd, the markings of a blue heeler, and the gait of a coyote. I don't know what she is, but she's one of the sweetest, smartest dogs i've ever been around. My next task is teaching her to get her own ice from the ice maker on the fridge.
  6. UCLA is the better team, but they have a tendency to let inferior teams back into the game in the 2nd half. If Xavier gets hot, they can cut a 9 point deficit to nothing very quickly.
  7. My wife's cousin plays for UCA, so we were at the game today. The cards were definitely the better team, but they were helped by 5 UCA errors and 3 or 4 hit batsmen. On top of that, Lamar's left fielder made a grab at the fence to rob UCA of a grand slam in the 3rd. It might have been a different ballgame without that catch. All that being said, Lamar looked pretty good today.
  8. They really tore it up at the end! I was impressed at the way they pulled away so quickly.
  9. push. if Memphis can establish the fast break and hit freethrows, they'll win. If Texas can get their guard play going, and get a decent showing down low, they'll win. I do have Texas winning in my bracket, though.
  10. Texas will not be able to stop the Lopez twins... the question will be whether or not they can contain them. If UT's guards man up and make it difficult to get the ball down low, and if Texas' big men can force the twins to shoot a little further out, Texas should win. Texas' advantage in the guard play can more than compensate for Stanford's advantage in the post. Should be a great game!
  11. just a little fun fact i bet you guys didnty know thy are twins P.S.(post scriptum) I baleive it is spelled lo[glow=red,2,300]pp[/glow]ez I think everyone knows they are twins, and it's definitely lopez.
  12. I almost picked this upset, but I never would've imagined it would be that big of a win for Siena.
  13. I'm glad they're playing UCLA. Even though I'm in Cali right now, I'll still get to watch the game.
  14. UCLA is the better team, but A&M matches up favorably with them size-wide. Should be a good game.
  15. Depends on the school. At a school with an abundance of solid players, a soccer background, and an actual soccer coach, I would say yes. At a school with very few real soccer players, no real history of soccer success, and a coach who is really a linebacker coach, then i say no. there's only so much that he can do with a group that has never played before and doesn't play in any leagues in the offseason.
  16. I was going to mention that, but I really wasn't trying to be mean.
