Nobody on here deters people from expressing their opinions. This thread, for instance, will not be locked because of what you said, even though you're criticizing the moderators. The problem with the threads that were locked is that they turned completely off topic and led to insults and personal attacks going back and forth, while the thread was supposed to be about honoring the girls of 21-3a. Personal matters involving both posters and players were also being drudged up. We're given the capability to lock or remove threads for a reason, and both threads pertaining to the 21-3a all district team were locked by two seperate moderators who felt that they were getting out of hand.

Of course they can go! They've got three wins against the top 6, including UCLA @ UCLA, and Tennessee on a neutral court, so there's no question as to whether they are good enough to go. They appear to have solved some of their "big man" issues as well. Many basketball experts have been saying that Texas is the hottest team in the country right now, and I don't see any evidence to dispute it. If they can get a #1 seed in the tourney, I don't see any reason why they can't go all the way to the final four (or beyond), but as a young team there is always the possibility that they will be upset in the 2nd round or sweet 16.
