Barbers Hill still down 1-0 midway through the second half, but just barely hanging on. Their goalie is having a nice game or this one could be ugly.

Both games same score at the half. Both of our local teams were getting run pretty good, but also appeared both might be going into the wind, LCM for sure, so hopefully the second half goes better.

Lumberton wins the shootout. Final 2-2 (4-3)

2-2 with about 6 min left. Lumberton has turned it up, but McIntosh for HJ just scored her second from 30 out.

Male Canadian Powerlifter Breaks Women’s Bench-Press Record in Protest against Trans-Inclusion Policy | National Review Synopsis: Canada is super woke, and in order to compete as a trans professional power lifter you only have to provide a government document saying you're whatever sex you want to be. No therapy, no transition, no hormones, etc. is required. That being said, a trans weightlifter named Anne Andres has been competing for the last few years, and has won 8 of 9 events while setting several records. Andres is apparently very cocky and arrogant, and most of her/his competitors resent him. In protest, the Canadian Men's Powerlifting head coach secured a govt document that identified him as a woman, competed in a women's event, breaking the current record by over 100 lbs effortlessly, all while Anne Andres watched. The best part is he did it in a traditional male weightlifting singlet while sporting a full beard. I thought the whole scenario was pretty great.

Thankful that we're in a state where she could legally defend herself.

Played with their coach back in the day. Best goalie I ever played with or against, and I played college ball. With better opportunities in a bigger area he might could’ve been pro caliber. From what I’ve seen the last several years, he’s an excellent coach as well. I try to catch a GCM game every now and then to catch up with him.
