I remember that game. It was the first time I had ever been to Hemphill. It was the battle of the Hornets.

Hardin will have to find a way to keep Snell from running for his life all night. Hardin lost to New Waverly by 8 and EC beat them 69-0. I believe their defense has 3 shoutouts so far. I’ll be pulling for Hardin but it’s gonna be tough.

If EC wins I don’t believe it’ll be worse than what they beat Kirbyville by.

Hasn’t Kirbyville put some pretty big beat downs on teams throughout the years?

Some expect Coach to throw in the towel early and quit trying if the Hornets fall behind early to avoid showing to much to the rest of the district and to avoid injuries. The vast majority believe that Hardin has no chance of winning a single district game but a source tells me that they may be able to compete with Anahuac, Hempstead and Hitchcock. The Hornets are definitely improved but I believe they’re about 2 years away from competing for a playoff spot.
