The bond issue was doa long before CARE entered the picture. I believe that a change is necessary at the superintendent level before any bond proposal will possibly have a chance of passing. The next proposal should also consider breaking up the bond into several packages. And finally,any "committee" should actually have a true cross section of the community.

Amen BRU!!! The tread started out about college possibilties & due to a few" misinformed player haters",quickly turned into this uncalled for attack on a kid. All he has done at this level is lead the district in passing yards,passing td's,all district,super team athelete,etc. for the last 2 years. He is a talented athlete & student, and will succede at whatever he decides to pursue at the college level.

He was invited & visited A&M twice in 08. Texas Tech is also expressing interest early in 09.

Kirby is visiting with A&M today as a guest of the coaching staff. They have expressed an early interest in bringing his talents to College Station. GOOD LUCK KIRBY!!!!!! :) :)

OVERALL THEY HAD A PRETTY GOOD YEAR. THE TEAM RESPONDED PRETTY WELL FROM THE LOSS OF RYAN AT QB.CONSIDERING THE LACK OF ATHLETIC PARTICIPATION(ONLY SUITED UP 32-36),THIS TEAM PERFORMED AS WELL AS EXPECTED.WITH THE NEW OFFENSE,IT'S A WORK IN PROGRESS.IN THE OFF SEASON, NED WILL HAVE TO DEVELOP SOME TYPE OF RUNNING ATTACK THAT WILL COMPLEMENT THE PASSING GAME. CAN'T HAVE 5'1"-120LB. BACKS.THE DEFENSIVE SCHEME NEEDS A COMPLETE OVERHAUL.THEY PERFORMED POORLY ALL SEASON.KIRBY PERFORMED GREAT. WAS AMONG THE HOUSTON AREA LEADERS ALL YEAR,A GREAT ONE IN THE MAKING.

A VERY SLOPPY GAME INDEED. NED CONTINUES TO STRUGGLE WITH ROUTINE DEFENSIVE PLAYS IN THE FIELD.THEY ALSO SEEMED TO WANT TO GO FOR THE LONG BALL , INSTEAD OF JUST SETTLING FOR GOOD LINE DRIVE HITTING.(ALOT OF LONG FLYOUTS WITH PEOPLE IN SCORING POSITION.) CENTRAL OVERCAME ITS MANY ERRORS WITH GREAT HITTING IN CLUTCH SITUATIONS. THEY NEVER FOLDED THE TENT. COULD BE A FACTOR IN THE DISTRICT RACE IF IT CAN OVERCOME ITS LACK OF BENCH DEPTH. IF HELMKE IS ON, NED MAY BE COMPETITIVE. NED MAY NEED TO SHAKE UP ITS LINEUP IN ORDER TO HAVE A CHANCE IN THIS TOUGH DISTRICT.

I JUST LOVE IT WHEN WE HEAR ABOUT ALL OF THE BAD UMPIREING FROM THE "" EXPERTS"". THEY MAKE THESE COMMENTS WHILE SETTING DOWN THE FIRST OR THIRD BASE FENCE OR 50 FT. IN THE STANDS. HEARD THE SAME AT THE SULPHUR GAME. PUT ON THE MASK OR STAY HOME.
