Silsbee can hit any of Dibolls pitchers, the team can hit; just couldn't get any luck Thursday game.. they just have to come out Saturday focused, play their game, and they will advance, if not then their season is over.

Is this official?

I have heard the games will be on Thursday & Saturday but any word on location yet?

For Silsbee yes, don't know about Diboll

I don't know if you should write them off just yet.. [/quote] So can Silsbee, for state ;D Silsbee didn't played a game in about a week before playing Columbia, the bats are warming back up.. for OF to have a shot in winning they need Silsbee to play their worse game and OF play their best game, I'll take silsbee winning in a 1 or 3 game series.

Games being moved to evadale to finish gameplay, tomorrow's game will be in Douglas. Teams currently driving to evadale to try to squeeze this game in before the bad weather.

Silsbee can compete for 1st in district [/quote] The pitcher that started that game also closed the game against Lumberton.  Not sure what criteria or information you are using to classify him as third best??  Silsbee has several guys that are really effective and will be able to compete and get wins in district!  You are correct, after the decision was made to pull him due to pitch count they tried to use guys and give them the opportunity to see what if any role they may play on the mound in the future. Silsbee, Carthage will hop back on that jet and head back home with the "L" People didn't expect the tigers to go this far anyway, they weren't even mentioned before season started.. now they are on fire and all over the news, so watch out  ;D

I expect this to be a hard fought game, both teams will play their hearts off. I give the edge to WOS because of the defense, but they are playing in Silsbee and everyone knows its hard to win there. Silsbee will not lay down, and IMO they play their A game against the good teams, especially WOS not (orangefeild, buna, hampshire, etc.) The coaches will have these kids ready, so be prepared to watch a battle friday night. Goodluck to both teams, and let them both represent 21-3a in the playoffs!! My final prediction in this game 7-0 going to the team who wants it more, btw its senior night in silsbee.  ;D
