I liked the praise that Kennedale coach gave us, but i did detect a hint of they really wanted this game. But hey, everyone wants to beat WOS. Keep up the focus and one game at a time.

Great way to end non-district play. First part of the season is over. Now district starts, second part of the season. WOS goes to the Longhorns house to play. WOS 48-7.

Great win for the Stangs. One game at a time and I know Coach T will work on the mistakes and get them ready for the next challenge.

Go Stangs!!!!!!! Hope for a safe game and travel for both teams and fans. Has the making for a great game, wear them down and bring home the W.

Seems like a theme over the last couple of years, teams for whatever reason in SETX do not want to play other teams. New coaches, off field issues, some the best games come from these matchups. Really bad for the game itself of football.

There is always a reason behind every decision, good or bad. If this is true and they have played since 1951, then another long tradition goes away. Kinda like WOS and Jasper would always play each other and now no more. Sad.

This game will help both teams prepare for district and the playoffs. Hoping for the Stangs to win but a great test for both and praying for no injuries on either side. These are the games that help you see your strengths and weaknesses to work on.

Is anyone from either side going to broadcast this game? Should be game of the week in state and SETX. Go STANGS!!!!!

Is WOS on the home side or visitor?

We know WOS is young again, how many starters will return next year and the few returning from last years state team will help.

This will be a great test for both teams. WOS will have their hands full with Kennedale. You could see both of these teams playing for a state championship. Kennedale will be gunning to end WOS's win streak and last years lost. I am thinking 27-21 WOS, but this could go the other way.

A great game by two good teams. Both are coming into their stride and getting better. Looking forward to both teams making a great run in the playoffs, but for now one game at a time and get ready for the next.

I too agree that Silsbee and WOS is no football rivalry. Can WOS say that have any rivalry school like PNG-Nederland? Maybe at one time Jasper but that has totally been dead.
