Galena Park, Crosby, and either Vidor or Santa Fe.
Wish I could say otherwise, but from the eye test of seeing both Dayton and Crosby I do not think Dayton will win. Vidor is always scrappy so out of the four you mentioned my opinion is it would need to be GP or SF.

Yeah well I figured since Anahuac had the best play caller in SETX that it was a easy pick!
I presume that comment is from what someone said in a earlier post. My thought for saying this was because someone said it was the biggest upset in the state.

Buddy you see them play last season or this year in a scrimmage yet? You should of been at the Crosby scrimmage tonight. If you wanna come watch a game I will get your ticket and popcorn. Looks to me like things are on upswing in Splendora for sure! Now I get what you are saying but don’t count those guys out this year!
I’m planning to catch a Splendora game again this year. How did the Crosby scrimmage go? I have not seen a post on it.

Unless there's a 7A made, even West Brook will be 5A within 10 years even maintaining its current student population. Houston, Dallas Austin and San Antonio don't open 5A schools anymore. It's not economical.
The population growth up 69 is crazy. New Caney, Porter, Cleveland will all be bigger than West Brook in 10 years, with Splendora not too long behind.
Beaumont just hasn't grown since the 1980s. The metropolitan area is missing about 600-700k people, which it would have had if it had kept up with all the growth Texas has had in the last 30 years. It's a shame, the area has a lot of good things going for it.
New Caney ISD will have a third high school soon.

Yes, just started this week. Getting them on phone and laptop.

He said matched up Athlete for athlete. Do what. New Caney lose a ton of kids or what?
Not in my opinion. We are probably both a little biased.
I thought Dayton did not look ready. My opinion Dayton looked better in last years scrimmage. But it was just practice. NC QB only ran the ball one time.
-
NC scored twice in the quarter. Dayton did not score
-
During controlled portion NC scored 4 times. Dayton did not score. I believe we are about to play a quarter with a clock.
-
New Caney had 59 freshmen, 53 JV, and 45 varsity working out at scrimmage today.
