Xavier Martin just checked in at QB for Humble on the second series.

So the likely setup for 21-5a is.
New Caney D1 1
Porter/Kingwood Park D 2
Crosby D2 1
Barbers Hill D2 2
Depends on who gets in, but if it's between the teams you mention. New Caney goes DII if both Porter and KPark get in.

Also we would still be the d2 #1 seed
I think their is a good chance both Crosby and New Caney go DII.

Crosby also plays on a Thursday the week before when NC plays Porter. I'm guessing the coaching staff and players will have the opportunity to attend that game. I know I will.
I believe this will be a benefit for Crosby as NC will likely have to open up a little more of the offense than they have so far. Where Crosby not likely to show as much that Thursday.

New Canes and crosby are on an unbeaten collision course.
Yep, and I sure wish we had this one at home. Will certainly be a lot of offense in this game if both stay healthy until then.

I watched Oak Ridge play a couple of weeks ago. WB better bring their A game if they take home the dub.
I agree, even though The Woodlands put it to them last night, Oak Ridge has been playing pretty good on the defensive side of the ball.

After watching the Crosby/Dayton game, Kpark should have no problem beating Dayton and winning out to get them in the playoffs. Stop the bubble screen and Dayton has nothing else. The number 4 spot is Kparks to lose.
For me, the unknown is BH and how they finish out the year. Kpark hold the head to head with them, but if they find a way to beat both Porter and New Caney they are in. I do not think they will have any trouble with Humble this evening.

21-21 5:18 half

Crosby answers quick. 14-7 2:06 first

All Dayton so far. 14-0 2:19 first.

End 1st, North Shore 14, Kingwood 0
Might want to double check that. I believe it is 14-7 and Kingwood is driving after 1.

Montgomery is adding a new high school for the 2018 season. Lake Creek is expected to open as a 5A Div II, Montgomery a 5A Div I. Could end up Livingston, Cleveland, Splendora, Lake Creek, Brenham, New Caney.
Very doubtful New Caney or Porter would be D II.

Well if those numbers are accurate we will stay 4a d1
NC would have been both 5A D1 and D2 with last numbers 1787.

that enrollment is incorrect for PAM. that's what was turned in prior to dropping to 5A. PAM is 1800, probably less than that due to Harvey
True but PAM is likely to have D1 numbers for 5A, not so sure about Central and maybe even Nederland. Central appears to have D2 numbers most likely.

Wouldn't this drop West Brook to 5-A?
The last enrollment had them at 2495. Not sure where they will be this time.

What makes you think GCM would drop down to 5A? Out of curiosity.
I think with the division splits in 5A the D1 number goes up added with the new 6A schools will put GCM as a higher enrollment 5A D1.

Here's what I came up with.
5A D1
New Caney, Porter, Kingwood Park, Caney Creek, Lufkin, Conroe Grand Oaks (JV 2018, Varsity 2019 5A, next realignment 6A)
PA Memorial, Baytown Lee, Galena Park, GCM, La Porte, Friendswood
5A D2
BH, Dayton, PNG, Vidor, Nederland, Lumberton, Ozen
Crosby, Splendora, Livingston, Huffman, Cleveland
I think Humble will be in the D1 district with the NC schools and K Park. I also would not be surprised for Willis to be in there.

C. E. King will a 6A enrollment. They were over 2300 last Fall and have limited open enrollment his year.
I had heard King might have lost some students after the flooding.

Hearing Nacogdoches, Livingston, Cleveland, Splendora and Huffman in the same 5A Div II district.
Depends on where the bottom number for D I is for Nacogdoches. They turned in 1674 two years ago. Has their numbers dropped significantly?

I think so, but he looks a little rusty to start. It is now 3-0 BH 11:19 in half.
