Nice long pass for NC TD. 7-7
-
No Netherly started. 7-0 after one quarter.
-
After holding Crosby to 3 and out get a running into Pinter penalty. Crosby takes advantage and scores after nice long pass. 7-0 9:31 first
-
NC defensive starters did not mention either of our normal starting cornerbacks. One of them was not on field last week either.
-
Looks like the soph may be getting the start for Crosby.
-
Agree with 1 & 2. As for 3, it's time to take the Mecca down. Go win a district championship Eagles!

Correct, I was talking about Livingston getting in and pushing PNG to D1. -

Unless they go D1 -
NC has been missing the freshman corner the last two games. He could have really helped against BH and Porter. But to your point, I agree we would not have won the last two games with those three all out at the same time.
-
Let's not group all in one category please. I have been on this site since 07. That would include the good and the bad times.
-
Agree to a certain extent but neither team wants to go into the playoffs on a two game losing streak.

22-5A vs 21-5A bidistrict venue prediction

Why would you say poor Porter? They have a solid team and are getting to play at home. I would bet they have at least 4,000 fans in attendance and more if New Caney plays on Thursday or Saturday. While I agree they will not be the favorite, I would not expect a blowout either. Coach Holley will have them in the game, I am sure of that. I remember a couple years back when Nederland as the DC played a Holley coached team in the first round, we know how that turned out. -

I just confirmed this to be accurate with the NCISD athletic department. Porter will have a nice crowd on hand. -

You would have to win the coin toss to get to play at your reserved venue. -
NC at home. 35-21 Eagles.
-
You guys should come watch the game from the home side at Texan Drive stadium. This should be another really good game.
-
If you were referring to my post I was not being defensive. You are right in that the Porter crowd seemed a lot louder. From my view I did see some open seats on their side but could not tell from where I was sitting that the NC side had that many. You could be right I just know it seemed crowded around me. Both teams played hard, no doubt. Hope you enjoyed the game and the atmosphere that was on display last night.
-
Both sides actually sold out. So not sure where you got that NC was underwhelming. The Porter band plays loud while NC on offense. NC normally does pass more. Looked to me like the coaching plan worked. Run the ball, control the clock, keep the Spartan offense off the field.
-
I agree, Crosby has a more balanced offense than Porter. NC basically took Carney out of the game by double teaming him with a linebacker. Crosby's ability to run will keep that from happening. Both defenses will have to play honest as both teams can run and throw. Hope it's as good a game as last year and both teams are healthy afterwards for the playoffs.
-
Looks like Porter had a total of 69 yards of offense for the game. Only 1 first down in first half that came on a penalty. Allison had over 160 rushing yards.
-
Have to see what the stats eventually show but Carney did not catch a pass for any yardage. I think we held them to around 100 yards of total offense.
