  1. NC holds 3 and out. Goo 88 yards in 2 plays. Miss PAT 6-0
  2. Splendora does have a pretty good running back. The East Montgomery County Observer had a spotlight article on him this week. You stop him and I believe you will stop the Wildcat Offense.
  3. New Caney at Kingwood Park, Friday night at 7. Turner Stadium.
  4. I have to disagree to some point on what you said here. Every year the coaches are looking at a large number of possible recruits. I do not believe they have enough time to actually look at whole game film for all of the recruits. In today's world their are a number of recruiting services. They do not send in whole game film. Show them some highlights and get them to come watch a game or send a rep to watch a game. You send them a whole game film and they are likely to set it aside.
  5. I believe the game is at Nederland, so no need to worry about Reba. If Nederland do not blow out Livingston, then Nederland will have trouble the rest of the way. I do believe they should be able to hang 70 if they feel like it.
  6. And Caney Creek, and Porter, or KPark and Humble. ; )
  7. Think I may drive over to Beaumont Saturday and check this one out.
  8. I know a lot of you would like to see Crosby lose but I just don't see that happening. I will say Crosby 42 BH 21 im not sold on BH being able to stop the speed of Crosby.
  9. 1. Barbers Hill/Crosby 2. Jasper/Silsbee 3. Evadale/Deweyville 4. Humble/Conroe Caney Creek 5. Splendora/Dayton 6. Baytown Lee/Ozen 7. Livingston/Nederland 8. Port Neches-Groves/Lumberton 9. New Caney/Kingwood Park 10. Willis/Huffman Hargrave 11. Hardin-Jefferson/Little Cypress-Mauriceville 12. West Orange-Stark/Bridge City 13. Coldspring-Oakhurst/Liberty 14. Newton/Diboll 15. Shepherd/Corrigan-Camden 16. Tarkington/Warren 17. Woodville/Orangefield 18. Vidor/Beaumont Central 19. Buna/Anahuac 20. Garrison/Shelbyville 21. Hull-Daisetta/Kountze 22. West Sabine/Hemphill 23. Groveton/San Augustine 24. Orange Community Christian/High Island 25. Beaumont Legacy Christian/Beaumont Kelly Catholic
  10. After two weeks I think 21-5A will be represented by Crosby, Dayton, New Caney, and Barbers Hill. The order of finish I am not sure. I will need to see what BH and Dayton have.
  11. I counted 7 losses, again mostly with the smaller schools.
  12. I don't care and I wish you guys an injury free season, and hope to see you again playing for the state championship. I was just replying to a post that said he thought you would be ranked in top 10, two divisions above you. I was just wondering where he would put them as their are some strong teams also at that level. Again, good luck!
  13. Yep, I can live with that. But 10 is Angleton and that would be a tough game for you guys. Not knocking WOS at all. Most definetly a legit title contender but not sure they would be top 10 in 5A. Some really good programs also with tradition in 5A.
  14. Curious what number you would have them at. 1. Cedar Park (2-0) beat Austin Vandegrift 13-0. 2. Aledo (2-0) beat Westlake, Calif. 65-7. 3. Denton Ryan (2-0) beat Mesquite Poteet 24-13. 4. Manvel (2-0) beat Galena Park North Shore 26-13. 5. Temple (2-0) beat Round Rock 39-25. 6. Frisco Lone Star (2-0) beat Mansfield Timberview 20-14. 7. Dallas Highland Park (2-0) beat Waxahachie 40-37. 8. CC Calallen (1-1) lost to SA Johnson 17-12. 9. Richmond Foster (2-0) beat A&M Consolidated 34-28
  15. Tonight they were better, because they scored more points. Having said that, they have a good QB. Athletic and made smart decisions. Have a real good kicker. The FG he missed at the end was 42 yards, but he had plenty of leg. Two quick backs and a huge nose guard. Honestly I think they only had one posession start on their own side of the fifty. Put too much pressure on our D. If our Offense would have played the first half like they did in the second and moved the chains, then no I do not believe we would have lost this game.
  16. My take is that NC will be okay. Had two snaps over the punters head that gave them posessions once at the 12 and once at the 16. Almost every possesion for Memorial was a short field. The QB for Memorial was a good athlete who made some plays when he needed. The back breaker was the last TD, third and 10, under pressure he threw it about 45 yards in air and DB was in good position but was just a better play by them. I think after watching the first two games we will compete for a playoff spot. Showed a lot of heart in fourth quarter and gave themselves a chance.
  17. Ballgame, had a chance drove it down turned over on downs at 25. Final 41-34
  18. 41-34 Memorial 2:01 left. Second and 10 they have ball. 2 timeouts left for NC
  19. And another snap over punters head giving them ball at 12. Can't let them keep starting in red zone.
  20. NC with a couple miscues gave them a short field. Down 24-7 at half. Their QB has been able to elude the rush a couple times and buy time to complete long passes on third down. See what kind of game we come out with in second half.
