I hate Michael being out for any time especially his senior year. Really nice kid. Having said that Daytons 3techs in the past had to be fast. Dayton used to not worry about size at that position they wanted a kid that could come off the ball. The kid who will most likely hold down his spot can fly and I'm thinking he will do just fine.
Splendora does have a pretty good running back. The East Montgomery County Observer had a spotlight article on him this week. You stop him and I believe you will stop the Wildcat Offense.

I am just from the area and I was looking into going to watch this game, I usually follow teams from the area. If it is not going to be a good game, I was going to choose another and it doesnt sound as if it is going to be a good one. Any suggestions on other games near the Dayton/Humble area?
New Caney at Kingwood Park, Friday night at 7. Turner Stadium.

You point is wrong. When i was recruited they did not want to see highlight film; they wanted whole game film. And the film you are referring to were mostly scoring plays. So if you was not there, don't assume stuff. We may very well get beat but i have read to much from the arm chair QB's for the world. When truth is you know as much as you read. I hope its a good clean game and everybody come out of it healthy.
I have to disagree to some point on what you said here. Every year the coaches are looking at a large number of possible recruits. I do not believe they have enough time to actually look at whole game film for all of the recruits. In today's world their are a number of recruiting services. They do not send in whole game film. Show them some highlights and get them to come watch a game or send a rep to watch a game. You send them a whole game film and they are likely to set it aside.

think the dogs get their first win of the season, Not sure what the Livingston Lions have this year, sure hope Reba Retired, if she hasn't I hope the dog pound puts up 70 to keep her quiet!
I believe the game is at Nederland, so no need to worry about Reba. If Nederland do not blow out Livingston, then Nederland will have trouble the rest of the way. I do believe they should be able to hang 70 if they feel like it.

After two weeks I think 21-5A will be represented by Crosby, Dayton, New Caney, and Barbers Hill. The order of finish I am not sure. I will need to see what BH and Dayton have.

I counted 7 losses, again mostly with the smaller schools.

wo-s could care less who they play because it will not happen 6a and 5 a teams shy away and yes the kids from wo-s did play a 5a school and lost both times that's life all in the past who cares
I don't care and I wish you guys an injury free season, and hope to see you again playing for the state championship. I was just replying to a post that said he thought you would be ranked in top 10, two divisions above you. I was just wondering where he would put them as their are some strong teams also at that level. Again, good luck!

Final was 27-18 Macarthur.

How bout 10 since you don't have one. Fair enough?
Yep, I can live with that. But 10 is Angleton and that would be a tough game for you guys. Not knocking WOS at all. Most definetly a legit title contender but not sure they would be top 10 in 5A. Some really good programs also with tradition in 5A.

Macarthur up 27-18 in fourth

Negative. WOS would be in the top 10 in 5A. Dominating...you can bet every team they play is terrified of them
Curious what number you would have them at.
1. Cedar Park (2-0) beat Austin Vandegrift 13-0.
2. Aledo (2-0) beat Westlake, Calif. 65-7.
3. Denton Ryan (2-0) beat Mesquite Poteet 24-13.
4. Manvel (2-0) beat Galena Park North Shore 26-13.
5. Temple (2-0) beat Round Rock 39-25.
6. Frisco Lone Star (2-0) beat Mansfield Timberview 20-14.
7. Dallas Highland Park (2-0) beat Waxahachie 40-37.
8. CC Calallen (1-1) lost to SA Johnson 17-12.
9. Richmond Foster (2-0) beat A&M Consolidated 34-28

Is Tomball Memorial that good?
Tonight they were better, because they scored more points. Having said that, they have a good QB. Athletic and made smart decisions. Have a real good kicker. The FG he missed at the end was 42 yards, but he had plenty of leg. Two quick backs and a huge nose guard. Honestly I think they only had one posession start on their own side of the fifty. Put too much pressure on our D. If our Offense would have played the first half like they did in the second and moved the chains, then no I do not believe we would have lost this game.
-
My take is that NC will be okay. Had two snaps over the punters head that gave them posessions once at the 12 and once at the 16. Almost every possesion for Memorial was a short field. The QB for Memorial was a good athlete who made some plays when he needed. The back breaker was the last TD, third and 10, under pressure he threw it about 45 yards in air and DB was in good position but was just a better play by them. I think after watching the first two games we will compete for a playoff spot. Showed a lot of heart in fourth quarter and gave themselves a chance.
-
Ballgame, had a chance drove it down turned over on downs at 25. Final 41-34
-
New life, missed a field goal 1:48 left
-
41-34 Memorial 2:01 left. Second and 10 they have ball. 2 timeouts left for NC
-
Final 28-14 Porter
-
With 10:43 left 34-20
-
And another snap over punters head giving them ball at 12. Can't let them keep starting in red zone.
