A very solid club. Have 6 losses on year, 3 of those were to 6A opponents. They don't have that really big post but are good sized and decent athletically. Their QB from football is one of their better players.

New Caney had a rough one against Montgomery. Coach left over the Christmas Break, leaving no time to find a replacement. Have some good kids, SS signed with SFA and Pitcher with TVCC. Jury out on how the JV coach who took over will manage the team.

New Caney is without starting big man tonight. One of the other parents said it was due to discipline reasons from the last game played. That would of been Porter, NC rival. Must have let emotions get better of him. I'm hoping we can still compete. Have a decent crowd.
