I think the best team can win, only, as someone posted earlier, if it is in a series of games, i.e. basketball playoffs, etc. Anything can happen on any given Friday night in high school football. I know we base a lot on stats and such, but again, what's happening out on the field during the game is what matters....forget the past or future...its the present.

I believe you can if the coaches decide to do a home/home flip.

I totally agree! It was wonderful to hear a prayer again before a game, being said by a high school student. Also, Vidor DEFINITELY has the BEST homecoming halftime of any school I have ever been too! Keep it up and I feel certain you will be in the playoffs in the very near future!

I'll be the first one to say that MOST Dayton fans were not like this or feel this way. Actually, I wish it had been a teenager, but unfortunately, it was a lady probably in her 40's. It's ok, was just shocked about the video that was posted so I had to vent....please accept my apologies...and again, I know that Dayton fans are not like this, and ALL schools have these selected few. Go Bronco's, good luck in the playoffs!

Actually, Cherokee was played over and over again...and, most of the time, the fans were on their feet! It was no competition...PNG fans clearly outdid the Dayton fans. Dayton was the better team and won the game hands down. I can't believe someone from Dayton would slight the PNG fans like this. Just goes to show. However, when my wife and I arrived at the game, we were parked behind the Dayton side. When we went to go in the gates, the Dayton gatekeepers refused to take our tickets...said we weren't allowed to go thru on that side or park our car behind the home stadium. One of the Dayton posters, actually told me to park here by the junior high school, would be easier to exit. About that time, one of the assistant coaches from Dayton walked up, heard the conversation and told the gate keeper that she was the rudest person he had ever seen and was ashamed she was from Dayton. He then, personally, escorted my wife and I thru the Dayton side, around the track to the visitors side. A guy with a lot of class. He was very apologetic the whole way and told us he was embarrassed. We told him it was ok, just everyone caught up in the moment. He said he had a lot of respect for PNG and their fans....which, he said, just kept coming and coming! LOL ! I've actually made friends with some Dayton posters, and I know they all don't disrespect PNG or PNG fans this way. Good Luck, Broncos, in the playoffs!!!

From what I've read on the threads, sounds like Crosby has improved alot, plus with homefield advantage. However, I'm still pulling for the Broncos ! Sounds like it's gonna be a good game! Go Broncos!

I agree purple. Quit whining and crying about who is what! PNG, Dayton, and Lumberton are ALL winners......Lets everybody get in there now a root for our district! We need to go deep, regardless of which team i is. The past few years, we have taken a beating in the playoffs....lets change i this year! Go Indians, Broncos, and Raiders! Just want to say, I know there has been a LOT of smack talk between PNG and Dayton fans on here, myself included. All in jest. Seriously, we have two of the best teams playing each other tonight that I have seen in a while. I just hope and pray that the game is injury free and EVERYBODY has a good time! I was just curious since there will be so many fans there, if they might open them earlier. I appreciate the info. When PNG played Nederland this year for MCM, I was told that there were fans lining up to get in at 4:30 for a 7:30 game. This game is going to be huge. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

Does anyone from Dayton know what time the gates will open tonight? Is it 6pm? Or because there will be such a big crowd, will they open them sooner? Had some folks from PNG curious about the time.
