They never made it to state at Harmony. Lost in the semis to Poth. Harmony has had good athletes over the years and has well over a .500 winning percentage before Jenkins got there. So please don’t act like or think you know that he had to turn a downtrodden program around in his 2 years there. They had a loaded senior class this year, that was the catalyst for their long run last year.

Had the pleasure of playing for and coaching with Coach East. Great man, mentor, coach, father, and friend. He will be greatly missed. Condolences to his wife, children, grandchildren, parents, and relatives.

This may be one of the dumbest comments ever. If they have 11 play the game, yeah right. Who in their right mind would try to play a varsity football game with just 11 kids. Plus if they cancelled an Area Round volleyball game because of covid, then it must be serious. I know those kids in HI, would strap it up no matter what, in the face of all odds, but there are things that are beyond their control.

I've played seniors on JV. Its usually guys that only come out their senior year, or can not help the varsity in any way. There is no UIL rule that says a SR can't be on JV.

Relax dude. I was just comparing the jobs. I never questioned The coach for his reasoning if he was to leave. I’ve been in the profession for a long time and also know the decisions that are made when you leave a job to move to another.
