The defense has definitely been a problem at times this year but they get put in terrible situations by the offense. We have had way too many consecutive 3 and out drives this season, especially in the first half. Or the dreaded chop block calls we see every week that put us way behind the chains. The defense has been on the field too much, we haven’t been able to sustain our usual ground and pound time consuming drives. I hear we are making changes and beefing up the defense this week, you may see the starting QB or RB now starting on defense. We will see how the offense works out, I think they are moving some youngsters up from JV to fill in.

Humph... not exactly a tough predistrict schedule but hey, a win is a win and I’ll take all 3.

I just feel bad for the higher classification teams that we smoked early on, now we can’t get a district win. It was a glorious preseason, such better days... LCM I understand is doing well in their smaller division but Montgomery and Caney Creek how are they doing right about now?

Ok so I gather that the Ganders might be tough but even if we lose this one we are definitely beating Dayton, right? Right? Hell yea that’s right. Who’s with me?!

That’s fair, game came down to the last possession so using any illegal video could have well factored into their win.

Oh I must have read that wrong, Vidor brought the motion but it happened in the Crosby game?

Why wouldn’t they have to also forfeit the Vidor game if they were using it against us and we called them on it? I know we have no chance at playoffs and it wouldn’t matter for us but it would effect all of the other teams.

Junior I believe he’s got some wheels, had a 65 yard TD last week.

We’ve used him sparingly, more and more so lately.

41-21 Nederland beat up on us a little bit but our boys fought hard to the end. Nothing to be ashamed of, good luck in the playoffs dogs.
