There’s a lot at stake here with the Pirates likely gaining statewide recognition this week. We could have a state ranked top 10 team in Vidor for the first time in a lifetime. Let’s all rally behind this team, join me in showing support and make the road trip to Huffman if you can. Let’s bring the whole town and pack the visitors side stands, you know you want to see Coach Mathews in his snazzy game day pants. We have an undefeated title contender in Vidor as the Pirates will be traveling to battle the hungry Huffman Hargrave Falcons who are battling for a playoff spot. Who ya got? Let’s hear your thoughts but I think this will be a good game and a tough test for Vidor on the road.

Word on the street is no but we’ll see. I kinda like the way this district is currently constructed with 3 natural rivals so close in our area and 3 far far away teams.

Yea they might give some 5a teams problems the next few years.

Oh man with all the hoopla going on I forgot to check the pants status for the game. Anybody got an update on that, did we have gameday pants again tonight? I’m going to assume yes with it being Homecoming we had a very high class crowd tonight, these people came all the way from North Vidor to enjoy the game.

They kept blasting us with the train horn but I’d like to let these people know. Vidor boys are used to the train horn we hear it 17 times a day. Especially on the south side, a train horn is like a lullaby song to us. You better bring some big city noises if you want to throw our boys off. We got trains for days and always used to stopping at the railroad tracks around here. In fact if anyone is using a train horn it should be us, but we don’t need that cause it would be going off non stop as many first downs Vidor gets. It would probably cause some accidents down on Main Street and Highway 90.

I hear they can’t get in the Dan Campbell top 10 but how can they possibly keep them out if they continue this undefeated season?
