WO-S Transfer QB that Transferred Out
Boneyard Boys replied to marshman's topic in High School Football
Well I didn’t think about that but you’re right. He probably doesn’t want to execute a bunch of fake handoffs before he gets to run or throw. -

My guess is somebody from West Orange promised him the world and did not deliver. I wouldn’t doubt it at all because WOS best basketball player last season came from a transfer. Was he from the same area? They are starting to figure out the game over there, it won’t just be local movement anymore. We will be playing by Dallas and Houston rules around here before long. -

Does he have any eligibility left after this season? Is he still a free agent or committed? Vidor needs players like this, WOS does not. -
You were probably thinking of Raider Girl.

Old timer was onto something…

You’re right about that, we’ve left a hole lot of points on the field. Our turnover differential is bad (don’t know what it is but bad would probably describe it accurately) it would not indicate an undefeated record. A lot of the fumbles I have seen have been inside the other teams red zone, so yea we gotta hold onto the football like last week.

Now I’m thinking. 1. Vidor 2. LCM 3. Lumberton 4. HH 2/3 playing for positioning this week but I think LCM will get it done. 5. Livingston 6. Splendora

Looking at making some revisions here, this thing has gotten shaken up drastically after just 2 weeks of district play. The Pirates are now sitting in the drivers seat with the Raiders riding shotgun. I thought they’d both be sitting in the back seat constantly asking ‘Are we there yet?’ Buckle your seatbelt the ride could get bumpy ahead.

And then the top two eventually meet up in later rounds but how far along into the playoffs would that be theoretically?
-
Believe me we did too but we couldn’t get it together last season and caught 0 good breaks but you make your own luck I guess. I’ve watched the ball bounce our way this year and it’s a beautiful thing to see. I think coach went to watch Liberty Hill I believe it was a few years ago and implemented some of their off-season strength and conditioning workouts here in Vidor. I don’t think the kids really bought in last year, they just got through it but it stuck with the younger group and you are seeing the fruits of that labor now. These guys play hard for all 4 quarters and it makes sense because it usually takes a few years to see the results of a program like that. I still miss watching those great games vs PNG and Ned every year.

Thanks, it has been fun so far. I’m glad I have been following this team so closely but I have to admit I thought we would struggle this year. We graduated so many good players from last season but these guys have surprised a lot of people. The game that got cancelled (twice) would have helped, they could easily be sitting at 7-0 right now.

Vidor needs to keep taking care of their business but they will probably need someone in the top 10 to lose if they hope to get recognized in 4A D1. Although if the Pirates keep winning it will be hard to keep an undefeated team out of the rankings over some of the 2 loss teams in there.

Terrance Arceneaux Commits

Congrats, kid is a cold blooded killer on the hardwood. Don't know how I ended up here (been lurking hard on the football forum) but came across this and think it's awesome for all involved. Will definitely keep up with TA's progress to the league I hope, now back to the football boards we got something special going on in the V. -
It’s Homecoming 2021 so… Why not? ✌️✌️

Lumberton 24 Huffman-Hargrave 16/Final
Boneyard Boys replied to AggiesAreWe's topic in High School Football
The outcome of this game could go a long way in determining the 2nd or 3rd playoff spot and I agree with you. Position yourself in the 1st or 2nd spot cause you don’t want to mess with Beasts from the East in the first round. -
Here’s the Jukey McJukerson play, plus an article that mentions the awesome 1964 team, figured you guys would like that. [Hidden Content]

Glad I got the season tickets.

The players post good stuff on their Twitter accounts.

Watson had a big game on both sides of the ball.
-
I found some highlights, check this play out. That looks like it hurt.

It was the play of the week on the local football highlight show, I’m sure you can find it on YouTube.

The Vidor fans are going to show up and show out for this Homecoming. It’s always packed every year but this one is going to be extra with an undefeated team. I was pleasantly surprised to see the huge following at the LCM game. The Pirates are building support from the community, if they keep it up it’s going to be a crazy finish to the season. I might even have to travel to HH next week if we get this one.
