Silsbee is a MUCH more half court oriented team this season. They have had to be with the schedule they have played. Hard to press those top 6A teams the way they could most 4A teams. Now that district is here, I'm sure they will work on the press a little.

Seems like Central has become Silsbee's new friendly local rival.

I'd like to see Landon Tyler play a little more. Lots of talent there. Is he just a Sophomore?

He had several " how did he make that pass " assist, but didn't take many shots. Looked like he was favoring a knee a little and didn't play his usual minutes.

The techs and that 2nd qtr from Grimes were just too hard to come back from. Overall, Silsbee played a very good game.

Bush played a great game..fearless. I liked the way Adams played more aggressive than what I have seen from him this season. Calvin Tyler did a great job slowing down Grimes in the second half.

Easily the best player in have seen play this season. He can do it all.

CollegePark beat 4A#3 Brazosport tonight 91-89. Should be another good game Saturday.

The Woodlands played a great game. They were deep enough to handle the pressure and shot the 3 well. Also a very fundamental team making few mistakes. Props to them.

This should open up in the 2nd half. Shouldn't be this close.

They beat Manvel and only lost to Klein Forest by 8. Have a 6'9" , 6'5", and several 6'3ish players. Looks like another tough test for Silsbee....if this info is incorrect, blame Maxpreps, not me haha.
