my opinion, he is the best player on a team of VERY good players. Now, I also think Devon will eventually be the best to come through Silsbee in a long time.

So, after football is over, who will be Silsbee's first starting 5?....and who will be the second starting 5?

Anyone see the HJ / Yates scrimmage?

If you were to take the best 5 players currently playing football vs the 5 currently playing basketball, it would be one heck of a good game. Going to be a fun season.

i believe there are about 9 who are playing football. 3 or 4 of those are probably starters. Depends on how Sigler splits them up.

I think those who are guaranteeing state titles are looking at the overall talent pool in Silsbee High School, not just the freshmen (McCain and Adams). Silsbee has a ton of talent to work with and will be fun to watch for several years to come.

Looking forward to two very good games between HJ and Silsbee this year. Lots of talk about the talent and depth of Silsbee, but sounds like HJ will be solid as well. Can't wait!!

I can see the first two groups being fairly equal in talent. Sigler has done this 5 in 5 out very successfully in the past. That third group will probably come in in short spurts to wreak havoc with their fresh legs while the other team is sucking air.

Sounds like Kelly will have a very good team this year. I'll go ahead and put it out there....Kelly vs Silsbee....who wins?

I have only seen Adams play a few times. I know this is saying a lot this early, but his game reminds me a lot of Bosha. Great shooter, good ball handling, and similar build.

All Silsbee needs is a few bigs. Mackey is getting taller and the move in from Croatia should help solve the size issue.

So how many starters, or big contributors are returning for HJ?
